at price point 1.61p on bid 3 MMs sit. When you ask for a quote to sell you will get a 'best offer' but RSP gives the full depth of the offers at that exact time with that exact amount of shares requested in the quote, whereas a normal trading account will just give you the best.
So a dummy sell of 1000 shares offered up -
SCAP 1m 1.638p
CFEP 625k 1.635p
SING 1m 1.63p
PEEL 750k 1.616p
In this case SING was sitting 3rd on best offer. If best offer is hit the others below don't stay there offering the same amount, they will readjust. SING will continue to not be best offer, however you can jump past certain best offers, sometimes the best offer is for less shares than you want, so it will go to the best offer of the shares being offered to match your request. If SCAP was only 500k and you wanted to trade 1m right then and there at that time, then potentially SING would have been matched to your request as the first best price for 1m shares.
And notice whilst SCAP/CFEP are not even on the ask at 1.61p on L2 they are actually the best offers.
