If they come looking licences now they will not be in production before 2023 most likely, it takes several years to build a chemical factory after that.....start building a chemical factory now and buy SAV to supply it and when they have the other places ready to go they have the factory already producing. Interesting that he also mentions Portugal as potentially being the gateway to Europe for spodumene conversion with material coming in from Africa.

However they would need to be paying market rates not against share price, as Portugal would be a bread winner for expanding SAV in the future.

The company timelines on the presentations has not had the offtake to be completed before end of 2018, DA might have expressed desire to complete by end of 2018 does not mean promise.

However, DA has confirmed that there are plenty of offtake discussions with NDAs taking place, they could have signed already but not desperate to sign to any (read chinese chancers) deal, but the best one for SAV.
No doubt European developments in the battery alliance etc has lead SAV to hold back for perhaps a European deal. That is less shipping costs and keeps it within a better market for doing business, SAV want to be seen as European stalwarts not chinese sellout lackies.... but if Euro not getting act together we will deal with the best offer.

I see a short term supply deal outside of Europe and then once the ball is rolling in Europe then supplying Europe after the first few years, possibly even our own chemical plant/partner plant once the cash flows are enough to push for phase 2.

BID was very thick below 5p all day and no one wanted to take it, so no desperation to get out there. 5p actually fell very easily and then with all they sold at 5p they will need to pick up again and therefore BID can only get thicker and they need to move the ASK as they can't afford to keep selling them without replacing the supply.
Many people are also scaling in and keep hitting the weakness offsetting any thinking of still leaving as we are about to hit a very rich period of company advancing news.
