Well this did appear after I posted.... Clearly you don't know how to chart properly if you think this.

There is money to be made in both and more to be made when using them combined. They compliment each other. For example someone might be chartest only and sell a company because the RSI is very high. They call it 'overbought', when in fact that only applies if it is being bought heavily with no fundamentals to back it up and there is no push to keep it being bought and rising. However if there is strong fundamental reasons for the buying and price rising then it is purely a representation of that fundamental demand and by no means it is overbought if those fundamental reasons support a higher valuation. Enough people will trigger action at it, but it will be overcome by the fundamentals. Charts are often group think/self fulfilling, if enough think something will happen then they make it happen because they all think it will happen etc. In low news environments that extra trading will increase the average volume and affect the price, then people will say the charts predicted that....they didn't people acted on a 'group theory' and made it happen themselves. Charts are historical, anything in the future is because people made it happen. Clever guy on twitter makes money out of chart setups (but has good reasons behind the setups and various things need to be in place), he has increased his following by getting enough right. The more following the more he will have success in lower volume shares, because the more people that follow his trade advice on a chart setup the more chance it will have of success, the better he looks and so on....and he gets volume to trade into. Very clever.

It is not like bad news is likely, unless you actually believe we cannot raise finance at $17,700 (just touched)....If we can't no one in the sector will!
So if Nickel price and story is not the problem, can you go off to chase others before this pops? 2 x 750k went that is not punt money.

That flip and 10% is misleading title...... The tax reforms will not come for a year and by then the huge stimulus may have offset the tax selling changes. Also people will sell tax gains in tech and could well rotate into commodities that will have a bull run off the GREEN stimulus and polices.

If you think the entire reason this went up is because a chart 'suggested' anything, well more fool you. No one said it does not work but you are saying price action in companies is driven by where the price is on a chart. I use both but never ever think that charts are everything. The chart was good to buy here at 3.2p because there was buying due to incoming news and macro environment improvements in the markets in general and a rush on LIT shares.....

You are not getting the point, show me the news that says these legal issues no longer exist? Your taking an AIM companies word that they are doing this or that with no question......That is dangerous in itself. MT has produced news that is genuine, but all you do is attack him rather than prove those issues no longer exist.

It is a game of cards..... you keep play certain cards as you need them. If they wanted the price to rise on the deal news so they coudl sell why would they drop the shady past on the LSE BB before then?

Insulting people and trying to cancel them does not make the truth go away either.....

Regardless of what they have been doing does not take away from the fact Singh as late as July 20 where being sued for $86m by a bank.....that is fact. Just because ARS has been doing due diligence does not mean this never happened. And well AIM companies and their deals in foreign lands....like they are always 100% legit!

Very easy for it to retrace on sentiment/market news etc....BUT it will only ever be short lived because this will be higher this H1 for sure.....But you know for the sake of a 10% retrace you were hoping for you could lose out on a buy out of 200%-500%. Nickel is supportive too.

MMs will make a turn with a snippet of news and markets especially love news that they can get people to sell on..... never easier money to be made than scaring PIs into selling. In general the market loves all news because news moves things. If things are not moving it is hard for them to make as much money, they only care about money.

I think the RNS gave the impression there would be NO bews unti finance was complete, however the subsequent BR Media interview JM seemed to suggest as some news around financing fell into place they would comment on it. He clearly expected to deliver news on the mandate early 'next year' and offtakes soon after. I believe both will be reported to the market. What you won't get is the finance confirmed until then, because they all will not sign off until all the others sign off. I think this is fall out from the likes of Nemaska/Baconara, both getting partial financing then to see market crumble and rest of financing fade away then those signing off the large down payment (for us would be the $325m mandate) for project not impressed. I think this is the new normal, agree in principal the parts and have a mass signing when all is ready.

Charts are for group think and it there is no news or sentiment, group think can make changes. RSI often described as 'over bought'. That is incorrect, it means there is a high demand for shares and the price is rising quickly on that.....If there is a good reason for that price rise then RSI only confirms the price action and by no means it is overbought!

It was not that some people should not be listened to, more that their posts might be a little more 'positional' with a more personal goal in mind of late.

Think he was only on LSE, used to tell elaborate stories which were supposed to contain 'insider' info, sort of wink wink, nudge nudge can you guess what I am saying. I am sure a few things came to pass and it was enough to keep the crowd engaged.... in the end the calls actually got worse and worse and went against people..... True trickster, gain confidence with a few good suggestions then make a killing when they believe you. Boiler rooms are well known about, group pumpers and deramping short groups etc you name it some people have no morals.

As Stummer says when illiquid in which it could be described as now, just needs enough pressure on one side of the book and it will flow that way and MMs take care of the rest. There were actually 2 x 500k sold in the day and WINS sold them on without much hassle on the ASK, albeit in smaller chunks than the 2 sells. I found it interesting however too see BMO Capital Markets on the BID 'buying'. They are not on the L2 list and I have never seen them before.....if they are accumulating for someone then there will be a little support soaking up additional sellers.

Barbed? You should see my tongue.... It is a well known fact that there was some heavy selling mid 7s, I am sure by more than a few people but some we do know. You can't then say surprised something is a certain price if you were selling it (I have no problem anyone selling when they want by the way). There were other factors that had a downward pressure and I gave reasons why that down trend continued so it may have happened anyway, albeit everyman and his dog seemed to realise that low 6's were just too low and people missing the original rise seeing another opporunity to get on board, some derisking decided it had dropped enough (if you wait too long you end up chasing it up), some top sliced and perhaps thought too good to be true, i'll get back again.....all seemed to underpin 6p. I think the end of year risks always kept SP from getting to 7s and it did look like another consistent seller was jumping on any rise and liquidity and value buyers were backstopping it falling below 6p. The £10,013, £15,013 and £20,013 values appearing regularly, so someone with size was selling by monetary value not share lumps. Risk events over and the other general market improvements has meant the buying has overcome whatever selling was persistent.
One would say that you should not trust a single person on here and for good reason (I have seen some charlatans over the years weaving some incredible stories, almost confidence tricksters, best of all was a guy in XEL claiming to be married into the 'Hampton's' estate agent group and he had a sunseeker yacht and seemed to drop insider info...enough to be credible but never truly trustworthy yet people hung on his every post). I'd agree with your process of elimination in sniffing out the wheat from the chaff when you were refering to Paddy. So I suppose it is about believability, brought on by consistency and fair and valid points that can stand up to scruntiny, stories told enough when lies can unravel after a while. I only know one person on here personally and long time friend, therefore the only person I could truly trust.

Several reason took us down and created negative sentiment. The block in the 7s where a lot was sold off took us to the 6s, even though some say can't believe we are at this price....funny them being partially responsible and all (like all the ARS holders discussing the drop in price after the last RNS when they all actually sold shares....what do they expect). After news was delayed for finance then you had traders selling out, some people trying their luck elsewhere in a quiet period, Brexit sh*tfest pre Xmas, US stimulus dragging on and pre vaccine...... all desrisking events for some.
Now Brexit sorted, Stimulus done, Vaccines released, China growing and demand for raw materials up, EVs really kickign off, deals taking place, commodity super cycle on the way...... People coming back as all boats rise on an incoming tide, it is safe, news of $325m mandate could arrive followed by offtake early in Q1 despite 'finished' package maybe not until Q2.
A lot of reasons to be outhave dissipated and now become positives to be in.....and Nickel rockin it....

Yes my cheeky 'extra' dip (at the time) top up just coming back to even too! 8.15p on BID needed for that....Make a profit soon on it!
