Inflation should be coming down as demand drops of the cliff with potential recession. So should the prices set by vod as competition intensified for lower prices to keep.cuwtomers. Lower revenue could lead to lower fcf and therefore struggle to pay down debt. I would vote for Dividend cut and management should consider this imho

Because demand is still there, wages have gone up. U can now get long term mortgages, they're not building enough homes. Mortgage is cheaper than rent lol you'll be waiting a decade or 2 🫣 once BOE are forced to cut rates, people will likely to fight for houses and pay over the odds to get it. I stand to disagree. Revenue decline was due to business being selective with what they bid for to meet the margin target they have set themselves. The public sector division revenue has been pretty flatish. Which is according to Richard stavely accounts for 60% of companies revenue.. as for vod, the revenue is based on clients and customers. If businesses start going bust, and unemployment starts rising b2b and clients and customers unable to meet their contractual terms, vod could see high percentage revenue decline which may cause vods debt to rise. Potentially going into a recession, vod is going into it with huge amount of debt where as capita has a very low debt level they have ever really had.. its good to see savage sitting at a loss. Apparently he only invested like 30% in vod when it went to 75p and how he was bragging about how he was in profit. Today we learn, he was only invested 30% lol 😆 sometimes don't believe everything you read. Two questions for you savage. A company with low debt, with secured long term contracts. Likely to stand well than companies like vod with high debt. If recession kicks in. Most companies likely to see significant decline in revenue. Especially vod where revenue drops because people struggling to cover the cost of their contracts. Whilst capitas revenue is pinned around secured contracts that runs over multiple years imho
