No I don't hold VOD, I was contemplating last summer, after doing the maths and reading the reports. I thought this has further to drop. I'm looking around 50p here. LTH were confident this was going to a £1, and that it was a defensive stock. How wrong were they? People were throwing insult as me but today's share price has proven my point imho 50p next please

Jg68, it's going to get worse for vod, borrowing cost in American and UK are rising and VOD has huge debt. Nothing to worry about debt here imho. Infact in hindsight, selling the non core business at the price we did looks a very good decision considering valuations for companies are dropping imhk

It's share buybacks that's keeping a lid on the drop in price. Even that isn't effective anymore as II looking to exit. As soon as buyback stops, and volatility continues, then 50s and 40s is still in play imho

Avocet is being totally realistic here. 50s and 40s isn't off the card imho expecting immediate 3 -4 % drop on open. Imho

So does price of contract has to drop. Which equates to lower revenue, low free cash flow to pay the debt or reduce the debt. Which is why dividend cut should be considered until market stabilises. Asset prices are repricing, with the current market cap. There's alot repricing to do here imho

DEBT DEBT DEBT, in economic down turn, becomes harder to service. Avocet you've raised a good point. To keep customers with inflation dropping to deflation potentially. Contract prices likely to drop and that's where competition comes in. Vod can't afford to drop prices imho
