THe company should do this officially in an RNS, I have said this all along.

Social media is not where companies make official announcements, that's why we have RNS.

The sooner the better AFAIC, and I wonder why they won't?

Where to start in answer to that?

Many companies in the past have issued an RNS to deny media rumours and BB posts, so CUSN could easily do the same, but aren't doing it. That's certainly a concern for me, but if it isn't for you that's fine, this is a market and we each have a different risk profile.

If people are posting "lies", and the share price is falling, I certainly do think they should put out a specific RNS addressing the "lies".

I have been in the markets a long time and seen a lot of money lost through investors ignoring red flags, so I am a natural cynic now, and that normally works for me.

My cynicism here is because they seem happy to tell individual investors "off the record", but not put out an RNS to ALL investors "on the record". I think it's verging on arrogance on their part to be honest, unless there is some truth tin the "lies" of course!!

As an investor I am left not knowing who to believe, and that's THEIR problem for failing to put this to bed with a clarifying statement.

You ignore my concerns if you want to, we are all here to discuss shares, I'm as free to express my opinion as you are, and will continue to do so.

If they clarified the position properly I would be very encouraged , as I think they are good guys and I want the project to succeed, but let's have some clarity "on the record!"

I have been saying this for a while now, the fact they won't is dosconcertingt, to me at least.

It's what a company says officially that counts, not on podcasts, ask UKOG shareholders if yoi need any conformation of that. "billions of barrels of oil" stated in an interview, where did they go then?

I see people are starting to become pesonal, always a bad sign for the stock. These are share discussuion boards, and if you don;t like what i post, don;t read it.

I am so absolutely distraught that a savy investor such as yourself has shut out my feeble attempts at deramping stocks to advantage my short positions, life simply isn;t worth living now.....

PS since I have been commenting negatively on the stocks you mentioned, how have they done percentage wise?

If not you are possibly guilty of market manipulation, as you are making a statement you cannot back up.

They ARE responding to phone calls, that's my point.

An RNS costs £150, a straight denial is quick and cheap and everyone moves on. This way it's festering and the investors have doubts. I have spoken to them and I told them I don't agree with their "ignore it and it'll go away" stance, these things tend to fester.

I think they're good, capable people, but they don't understand how investors perceive news and rumour. The NOMAD should be helping them here, they monitor the boards all the time.

We haven't been updated officially, that's the whole point. Investormeets is not a regulated news service!

They need to issue an RNS, then it will be official.

UKOG once announced they had found "billions of barrles of oil" on a podcast, then later denied it. The podcast was found, they did say it, but it wasn't true.

No action was taken, publicly at least. That's my point about an RNS being official

You can trot of yourself, I have as much right to post here as anyone else.

And for your information, I have asked them. What I can't understand is why they refuse to confirm what they told me officially, which would finally put the rumour to bed.

This is definitely having a drag on the price, who in their right mind would invest without confrmation as to whether there's a serious problem or not?

I prefer to by when I expect the price to rise, but it takes everyone to make a market.

Companies do not issue official announcements on Investormeets podcasts, they do it via RNS, the Regulated News Service of the LSE.

Only those announcements count, nothing else.

Quite why they can't do this is causing me to qustion whether there is some veracity to the claim, whereas before I thought it was total nonsense.

Ask yourself why they will deny something over the phone that they won't deny officially via RNS?

A lot of Scotgold's investors lived near the mine and had a vested interest in its success, and look what happened to them!

One's proximity to the mine doesn't make success any more likely or unlikely.

The company need to address the issue and give investors confidence, and then buyers will return, IMO.

A 1.3% rise after osing nearly 70%, you guys are easily pleased!

And looking at the trades, just small retail, maybe somebody has tipped it somewhere? Zak Mir perhaps?

All the company has to do is address the main issue in writing and investors will return to the stock.

I can;t believe you follow Zak Mir, he's a huge red flag for me. I would never invest in a company he's promoting..

I actually think there's some sort of issue, and have done since Richard Williams' sudden resignation.

The falling share price also backs that up that feeling.

It might be AIM, but responding to damaging rumours whilst the share price is losing 66% of it's value in two months, and still falling is surely a requirement?

Or are you happy with the current share price performance?

If you expect price drops at the moment, why on earth are you holding the stock? WOW!

Volumes don't suggest anything is afoot? What about the price? Most investors focus on that.

The company should state there is no water ingress into the mine, in an RNS. That will end it but they seem reluctant to do that which makes one suspect there may actually be some truth in the rumours, and that opens a whole new can of worms.

The uncertainty has nothing to do with the election, the Ukraine war, unrest in Korea, or the black death, it's down to a rumour circulating that the company are not dealing with. CEO resigned, big seller, price falling like a stone, this needs to be nipped in the bud PDQ. If it's untrue, it's market manipulation, a very serious offense.

If they need a financing at this price you'll be diluted to death, still you seem comfortable with a falling price, so there's that.
