You're right, it was MORE than 50%.

Low of .19 on FRiday to a high of .31 today at the highest price paid this morning before the pullback.

That's because traders are disciplined, as soon as they reach their target they sell and look for the next trade.

+50% in a day and a bit is good going by anyone's standards.

Exactly, the company promoted hard in the build up to the AGM, and that built up anticipation and investor excitement, and that produced heavy buying, and drove the price up .

Now the anticipated deal is taking longer, some people are losoing the faith and chasing rainbows elsewhere.

WCAT are paying the price for that promotion now, they sould stay quiet until the deal is done, then bang the drum hard.

It's not 2 buys, it's a rollover!

Possibly an out of the money long using a T20 hoping a deal is announced soon.

Of course it's not good news for anyone that want to sell, (for whatever reason), I was just pointing that out to the poster that stated that it was!

This is a cash shell currently, and as such I think that all the believers are already holding, and until a deal is confirmed I suspect there won't be much buying at this level, and the lack of buyers currently bears this put IMO.

It's always easy to buy a stock, but if there's no liquidity to sell into, that's bad, no two ways about it.

Surely if you can buy 10 million shares, but cannot sell any shares, that's a bad sign?

I don't consider the Standard List being on the "main market".

AIm is more highly regulated with the NOMAD system, the Standard List needs something like that in place IMO.

People may have to pay a bit more, but the risk will have been reduced or removed, so that may suit their tolerance to risk better at that stage.

So yes I misquoted you, but my point still stands that your statement is simply wrong because there is a gaurantee they will be able to buy back if they wish, that's how the MM system works, they are the ultimate counterparty.

That's not what he said, he said they "wouldn't be able to get back in", whereas you're saying they will be able to, but at a higher price.

I agree with you, rather than him, you can always buy, the market regulates the prices on demand, and if there is a buy there has to be a sell to balance.

It actually says nothing new at all, it's just an attempt to make it look as though something is about to happen to keep PI's onside.
