RE: Webinar28 Jul 2020 17:15
On the Webinar, which i sadly missed as i was playing on the beach with the kids (sounds like a decision well made), if they had put out a bunch of young people and the CEO and Chairman were absent there would have been all sorts of complaints about "the people in charge not even being prepared to face us in a webinar".
the SP is atrocious, but it's been here many times before. my main issue is with the hideous capital raises, the lack of use of the government covid schemes to help out and the perennial over promising and winks and smiles.
but i feel that the underlying business overrides all of this. they are categorically in a stronger place than any time in my 8 year's here. there are some annoyances - like the Iran, the ferry, the disappearing "signed" African contract, the fact that covid sales have clearly not carried on at the same rate as repeatedly implied.....but they are staring down the barrel of an actually profitable year, with hopefully a promising pipeline.
i'm happy to hold as i see the asymmetry of returns as hugely in our favour......it ain't going bust any time soon but it could, maybe, just maybe, multi-bag on a KSA contract or 2.
off out to try to remember where all the old guard have gone from this BB.
