The markets are a perfect storm atm for massive overselling of stocks with problems and it's not a case of the glass is half empty, it's the glass is totally empty and smashed to pieces. This gives fertile ground for the derampers/shorters who are loving it and it's creating massively oversold stocks. Funds become forced sellers as the price drops on account of their metrics and this exacerbates the problem . In a bear market everything is set to 'panic'. But when the dust settles and panic sellers are cleared, the buyers step in for the bargains and the shorts poo their pants, leading to huge bounces.

This is clearly oversold. Yes things are not great, but to this extent?? Always makes me laugh when turbo-derampers start deramping when it's already down 80%, as though the sp isn't already reflecting the bad news. Likelihood is there will be a deal that sees shareholders receive more than 0.3p a share and traders will know this, they know this is oversold, so they will be buying and the herd will step in when it turns blue. This could easily double from here and still be down 63% from yesterday, just think about that.

MM's were in a right mess today. The number of times they locked retail buying tells you all you need to know.

I suspect there will be US/Asian investment eventually, but it'll be by way of a placing at a discount and it'll also mean angry 17.5p placees get to average down too. Aimho.

Another all expenses week in New York though for a man who earns £80k+ for 2 days a week work, so not all wasted ;0)

Or is the target really the investor event on Thursday, allowing the yanks to (finally) get in on the cheap. Surely it's not all orchestrated? Conspiracy theories like that never happen on the markets, lol.

Wonder what the herd have in mind as a target to go long? It's already oversold, hugely, yet many are talking about the gap around 6p. But if that's what they're saying publicly then we can assume it's higher. We'll see as the twitterati have been making hay on Avacta etc and that's now on it's way down, so maybe we'll see a switch back in here at these ludicrously oversold lows? Will certainly be a scramble to get back in when it starts . And that's when the bonhomie ends and it's everyman for himself. So do you feel lucky punk, do you wait for the bottom and leave it up to others, or do you make it the bottom and start buying before the herd? We'll see soon.

If there's no large sell reported later then you have to ask where the mm's got 1m extra shares to sell today to end it even. Markets aren't complicated, or shouldn't be, more buys the price should go up. Which can only mean this is rigged and not an orderly market as the mm's are meant to facilitate.

I agree there must be s forced seller as this is beyond even the stupidest things I've seen on small caps recently... and that's a low bar.

It makes perfect sense. Look at the price over the last 2 weeks since funding news, it's been up and down like the proverbial.

Its not in the price ffs, just 10% traders taking out their rainbow chasing money. Actual investors are waiting for the traders to exit and the price to stabilise before taking long term positions. That will see it higher in the coming days/weeks imho.

Fundamentals mean nothing anymore. Remember, when it stops being fun, stop.

I think this sums it up. One year on and the company still doesn't make any money.

Look, lets get real here.

It's been almost a year since they presented their bits of lab meat and the share price doubled. It then went on a very rampy journey to 20p at which point they did a discounted placing. They were then meant to 'showcase' some more meat but didn't, instead they hid it behind closed doors and only invited some twitter rampers. They then said the US listing and roadshow would be the catalyst for a rerate rather than just an excuse for an all expenses paid jolly to New York to rub shoulders with other boffins, and AGAIN it's done sweet FA for the share price! Plus they're paying some expensive US PR outfit for this. They also chucked in some pie-in-the-sky teaser about leather but can't tell us who the 'leading fashion house' is and nobody seems to have found out. Oh and there was something about 'evaluations' of their citymix media, but that was over 6 months ago and the trails gone cold.

Meanwhile the CEO picks up £80k a year, on top of jollies, to work 2 days a week.

That's not what I said. My point was don't go rushing to buy based on that rag's 'good news' story, that is the logical opposite to me selling on the rags 'bad news' story. I'm not suggesting anyone sell, although there is a separate case for that based on the p155 poor performance.

Same paper that said vaping would be banned 2 weeks ago, causing me (and many others) to sell my shares in CHLL at a loss. Since then they've doubled as the story proved false.

I wouldn't take anything this rag says seriously!
