I'm in the very lucky generation who had a very good final salary pension, so for me apart from paying off the mortgage my retirement is sorted (and ideally that is in about a years time - shorter if this baby comes good!). For those with longer to go, I'd agree that trying to build a savings pot is a good plan - being able to fund your own retirement means you also cater for dependants - but try to build that into the pot - I'd personally (if I was doing this now) try to aim for a pot equal to the amount you want to draw down - though less is fine as you will earn (one hopes) interest on what you have invested - but if you can manage to live on capital alone you know you are safe. DON'T forget to factor in inflation though - at which point the size of the pot needed can be frighteningly large. I get annoyed when some of my ex-work colleagues are being persuaded to cash in their final salary pot "as it's worth over a million". True, but it's not that much money if you live for 40 years after retirement! And if inflation eats away at the value.

Futureisbright - as I keep a daily track of my investments, it didn't take me long to pick that one up - but if you don't, it would be a bit of a shock to the system! Nice to see my losses reducing on this one - only need a five bag from here to break even!!

never look at your holding on II between around 16:30-17:00 - for reasons I don't understand, it always shows the previous close - so wait till after 17;00 to get a true picture!

Interactive investor have just sent out an email with the title BOULD OPPS PLC - Delisting. Which links to the corporate action which says "Please be informed that Bould Opportunities Plc has announced that its listing of Ordinary shares has been suspended from trading on AIM on 7th October 2019.

If the company is unable to complete a reverse takeover or be re-admitted to trading on AIM as an investing company under the AIM rules by 7th April 2020, then the suspension will not be lifted and this stock will be permanently delisted." - in other words, exactly what we knew!

despite comments (from me and others) about how much the LTH needs to break even, worth bearing in mind we stuck with this share - there has always been that hint of significant value. AT current levels with current information, this does look like it will make money for anyone with a low enough average (eg new investors). May take a while to get to the levels some of would like, but that's investing for you!

that new investors 20 bag from here - no, I don't believe it either, but it's what I need as a long term holder to get close to even on my investment!!

Had a thought over the weekend - one of the earlier RNS notes mentioned other markets - wondering if the suspension was always planned to ease the transfer to an alternative exchange?

OK, fair enough Jace - I'm just looking at the notional value of my share account and that is a large fall today. Academic as (a) it's a notional value and (b) I'm not selling. But it does make my chart look depressing.

a large fall today - my reading of the RNS was fairly positive. But clearly others didn't share that view. Time will tell. it's a good job I invest for the future though, as the "return" on my total investments is seriously negative at the moment - with this one bringing the average crashing down at present. BUT todays value isn't important, it is the value at journeys end that matters. That journey to me hasn't changed.

and after my previous comment about not being able to afford to put in any more, I decided that with the fall another million shares (keeping my holding in round millions!) was worth the risk after all!

Not that strange imho. I would imagine a fair number of LTH (myself being one) are as invested in this as we ever could be - have no spare cash that I can afford to lose if all goes wrong, so I'm not in the market to buy. There is no news other than what was expected (though the passing of ALL resolutions may be good news that some didn't expect). So there is no major reason for new investors to catch on to this share. There will be those who expected major announcements in incredibly short order after the AGM. Those announcements haven't come (and I don't think were ever going to), and they may decide that now is the time to bail - hence sales. I'm holding.

Destitute - everyone is entitled to an opinion, but on what research do you base your assertions? The research of many LTH on here would tend to a differing viewpoint.

with two computers and careful use of the mouse it's possible to have two posts within seconds of each other. Personally though, it worries me not what one poster says, nor who said poster may or may not be. My research holds up, my assumptions remain valid.

Jace - I'm with Interactive Investor - we pay a subscription AND commission! Just not as high commission as some.

smithy - think you may have moved the pricing up one place too many - much as I'd love it to get to half a pence before the AGM, .05 of a penny is more realistic!!

odd thinking Neo - if he'd done the things you say BEFORE he got PSL, then maybe - but why would he do them AFTER? For me, there is a definite plan going on and PSL is a red herring.
