I agree, this page is regularly updated and edited, and is repeating in a condensed form what many of us have been saying. However, it is nice to have this written and contains what I would like to put down myself if I were to write a positive outlook on our current situation.

A revised broker note, presumably at a higher price than the previous 27p, would be a welcome piece of positivity were this to be released before any substantive news. Of course, I as all of you are hoping for something more substantial.

To take my mind off this I've been looking around on the Internet and will post this excerpt from an article, which hopefully helps people remain positive. There is plenty of good news going around with other hydrogen themed companies, our turn must be soon!

Through 2019 AFC altered its focus towards EV charging and partnered with Rolec. Perceived advantages of the AFC system are the ability to operate in remote off-grid areas, the ability to neutralise the constraints of grid capacity in any situation, and of course 100% carbon-free power generation. The high costs of grid connection do much to mitigate the capital costs and AFC is working on innovative capex models with clients; indeed it is felt that commercial announcements are imminent. During 2019 AFC also set about branding its products. Of particular interest are the solid electrolyte fuel cell scheduled for release in 2022, and the Alkamem membrane. The former is a high density fuel cell likely to have many applications beyond that of the traditional AFC offering. The latter is an innovative membrane with applications in multi million dollar markets outside of fuel cells eg electrolysis. A broker note dated May 2020 noted fair value for the company to be double the present value, but also noted the very significant upside potential of these innovative products. High end clients are known to be in advanced discussion. The outlook for AFC looks bright. The political winds are favourable, with recent government announcements re funding for EV charging, and an acceptance of the green agenda both for public health reasons and to drive the post-Covid economic recovery. AFC looks set to become a significant player; it is notable therefore that it's market capitalisation is some 7- 10% of other UK-listed hydrogen plays such as ITM power and Ceres Power. (May 2020).

In June 2020 AFC entered into an agreement with Acciona, a large Spanish construction company with a multi national presence, to demonstrate the AFC fuel cell on site. Many governments, particularly following the covid crisis, are looking to mitigate the environmental effects of construction, especially particulate pollution; many have already legislated. The AFC fuel cell provides a ready solution and the deal with Acconia will be followed keenly by other construction companies. It is notable that, following this deal, the in-house broker withdrew their target price in order to review. It is also notable that their previous target price attributed no value to Alkamem or to the solid fuel cell. The latter is notable as it opens additional applications, notably shipping and trains as mentioned by the CEO in a June 2020 interview.

Again, another strong close on Tradegate. I've been comparing some other hydrogen based companies on tradegate to their home exchanges, all are close on volume. I'm finding this more and more intriguing, volume increasing on tradegate, and we know the Germans' are leading on many fronts with the hydrogen march, DW has provided many interesting links to show this. I think the future importance of tradegate may be understated.

I'll be looking at tradegate myself in some more detail now. One thing that may interest people is the cost of transactions. For me to buy or sell AFC shares through my Norwegian bank costs about £25, if someone was looking to buy a small amount of shares this can make a considerable difference. Another point of interest for me is exchange rates, these have a huge influence during these uncertain times. I've seen the nok vs gbp go from 0.8 to over 1.3 whilst I've held AFC, obviously this makes a huge difference to my holdings. Now I can potentially use tradegate and speculate with the EUR vs GBP, I'd imagine some traders may also find this attractive?

I agree. I've sat down to have a read and I'm very impressed, some excellent reading, and some great links. My summary can only be that you've all shown AFC have everything there, they just need to prove it to investors in order for the share price to reflect their value.

To add to the arm chair article, to suggest the UK will move away from EV vehicles (I also felt undertones of bitterness ), is utter madness. The UK will raise money by not following the rest of the world and getting left behind? How will they raise money? The UK has an opportunity now to be a big part of the future, and AFC can be a part of that story. We've seen links from DW showing Germany are moving forwards amongst others, the rather good BBC article describing the covid recovery and focusing on renewables. It's all there, the market is there, the market is growing, more and more everyday. AFC just need to show us that the products they offer are indeed in demand and can produce what they tell us in a real world environment.

I'd imagine they are. We are still seeing more buying pressure, and we've ended another day in the blue. Steady SP growth along with consistent news and good use of the various media platforms is doing a good job. This is far more desirable than the madness that ensues with huge spikes, though these of course can be expected if some incredible news is dropped.

The mood can be assessed on some levels by looking in this forum. We are seeing more genuine investors turning up with knowledge and genuine interest, always a good sign. Those of us who have sat on this for years, many of us only topping up and not trading (arguments have been made for and against this, hindsight is not a technical indicator!), are not getting too caught up in daily fluctuations, though of course, I'm watching and like to see this going the right direction!

What's different about this time is everything feels right. The interest is genuine, the products all have (big) market potential, the news flow is moving in the right direction. Even Mr. Bond had the sparkle in his eye during the interview, I've seen him confident in a couple of interviews though this was by far the most confident I've seen him, body language says a lot!

I think many of us know that we are on the cusp of being genuinely commercial, and my interpretation of commercial means the golden word - sales. We can feel the dominoes lining up, just want the first one to drop...

Im not one to speculate here, though I'd imagine we will end the day and week in the blue. It's a risky time to be out of a company with this type of tech, not knowing when they may release a significant piece of news.

I agree it is far more logical to compare with Ceres. ITM is of course has a bit of a buzz at the minute, I usually look to compare that to NEL. As for Ceres, they perhaps have products which have been more in fashion than AFC, though when you look at the products AFC are currently offering, and the direction the trend is heading, I think these products are close to having their deserved moment of recognition.

Hi Southerhay, hope this isn't patronising as not meant to be, though if you don't pay for order depth information on whichever platform you use, all of the information will be 15 minutes delayed. I checked the trades this morning through my bank, and it came up with an 800,000 buy from yesterday, late reported. I find it frustrating and don't fully understand how it all works.

I also find it interesting that AFC have been selected outside of the everywh2ere project. Acciona are already a partner in the project, though if you have a look at the specs of what is being tested: http://www.everywh2ere.eu/the-gensets/ AFC offer a better solution. The proof is in the pudding, and I'd want to know how it operates in a real life situation before commiting.

Yes completely agree. I think many festivals are being pointed out now for their carbon footprints, and many are looking at ways to reduce this, Glastonbury being a good example. This would of course be great pr too if they could provide a major festival. The project of course covers construction too, I'm sure Acciona are keen to show off their green credentials, and others will follow suit.

The same goes for the EV charger in my opinion. Once one major super market for example makes the move and has some H2 EV chargers, other will follow a similar line. It's great PR for any brand now to appear environmentally forward thinking.

This project seems to cover a few different uses of H2 gensets in Europe. If Acciona are satisfied with the results of the genset, I believe AFC will be the company of choice to provide to many events throughout Europe. This project is looking at festivals and such, there are many events that will be interested in using these generators in the years to come.

I've enjoyed reading the detective work some of you have put in regarding Fridays price action. I can't deny I'm looking forward to Monday to see what we may learn, though it is not the first time I have seen this type of action. What makes this interesting for me is, as chippy has summed up nicely, we are in an uptrend and green tech is the buzz at the minute. I can't help but feel that "our" turn in the limelight is overdue. It is my personal belief that what AFC have developed/are developing is currently undervalued, and we are due a re-evaluation.

There are many posters who can put things far more eloquently than I, and many here with far more knowledge than I have too, however, we have all shared a common ineterest, and have seen this board change personality along with the share price. I've seen it writen and written it myself before, though I truly believe that this time, finally, the world is on our side. Despite our frustrations, mistakes made along the way, poor or misleading communication, changes of direction, huge fluctuations in share price, interesting posters, the list can go on, we are here today with several products that the world wants and needs.

Watching the NASA/Space X launch tonight made me quite excited. Remember the basis of much of the technology we are presenting to the world was developed and proven in the 1960s! The only sad story here is that it was not utilised sooner.

I, as most of you, will be watching closely Monday morning. I trust AFC will continue to deliver, the future is bright, and the future is now.

Great post on LinkedIn, this was the exact type of response I was hoping for after "the madness of lockdown" (I quite like this description). It's great to be able to take a positive from the past few weeks, and I think many people have realised the benefits of clean air amongst others. All of this can and should work in favour of AFC, and although we don't have significant news releases coming out, it does seem as though behind the scenes the right people are talking to the right people at the right time.

I believe you can select the purity of the hydrogen depending on which electrolyser setup you go for. I've seen some offer .99 up to .9999.

I've often wondered the same thing, I look at nel who have teamed up with Nikola, if Nikola are setting up all these hydrogen filling stations in California, why not have a dual purpose, hydrogen filling and ev charging, the ev side of course powered by the hydrogen.

Nice to see some optimism returning. I must admit I'm looking forward to the earlier mentioned social media storm, I have a good feeling that Tom will know the right places to go, to get people talking about AFC. Perhaps the Sky interviw may even make a return...
