Otherwise I could have shown you all the people ‘cancelled’ by Myles McNulty (seconded by Maria) who turned out to have a better understanding than the self-proclaimed investment guru of the real obstacles faced by Avacta. I guess we should all pile pressure on LSE to get their act together and then you could judge for yourself. It’s particularly annoying that they failed to post any RNSs today.

The fact is that AVCT must (or at least should) have commas people checking boards like this for expressions of investor sentiment. They can therefore surely see the many questions thrown up by yesterday’s RNS. Why not therefore use their DX Twitter account to answer some of them. Not necessarily anything financially sensitive, but for example those questions about why and how we came to be reliant on an antibody component etc.

We could always ask Myles McNulty to use his massive influence as a 1% shareholder to call for a meeting. We just need to ensure that a few others accompany him on this errand so that we can verify that any meeting he talks about isn’t a figment of his imagination.

This ‘Lab alert’ is from CDC explains withdrawal of EUA for PCR test and THEIR preference for future:

I believe this could be described as a ‘next generation’ test.

0.2% looks pretty low to me.

I did say 'IMO'. Why do you think there was no flu last year? Why do you think that the crap Chinese tests that we have been relying on return a high level of positives in the same way as the 'confirmatory' PCR test set to 40 or more cycles? Why is the FDA now urging test developers to create tests that will look for flu and coronavirus simultaneously?

IMO AS knows that all the tests that are being approved are picking up flu as well as Covid. Therefore if he wants AffDX to compete in a world where Governments worldwide want high case numbers to justify medical tyranny, he needs to change the mix.

Indeed Tigra, which probably explains why they have never answered my freedom of information requset submitted several months ago regarding PCR cycle levels and whether and when they had changed since the WHO had declared the high CT level to be inaccurate. Even Fauci FFS said that beyond 37CT, PCR was just looking at Virion soup, not active infectiousness.

Well it seems that the next generation of the virus (first seen in Israel and now apparently in UK) combines with flu. They are calling it 'Flurona'. So perhaps making AffiDX future proof will mean that it needs to be sensitive to flu virions as well. (As I suspect that the Chinese tests already are.)

This is exactly what I feared. The Government has never wanted an accurate LFT - by which I mean one that worked against the fear narrative and proved Covid to be less prevalent in the real world. We can therefore assume that Chinese tests passed Porton Down with flying colours precisely because they achieved the outcome that the Govt wanted - a high number of cases that would chime with the high numbers being identified by PCR set at 40 cycles.
Meanwhile no flu last year or so far this season. Affidx does not pick up flu. Hmmmmm!
The objective has always been to portray vaccination as the only game in town.
AS probably knew that AffiDX would not match results from PCR and has therefore been reluctant to launch into UK whilst this diagnostic sleight of hand was continuing.

I guess we need to remember that AS is not intending to compete with crap freebie LFTs distributed by Govt but the range of tests that will replace the freebies. If people are paying for their tests, they will want quality. (I still have the suspicion that AFfiDX results do not tally with PCR tests dialled up to 40 CT cycles.)

Why can’t they carry out this improvement process whilst still selling the old version? Nobody else will be withdrawing their products.

I don’t suppose that all LFT suppliers will be slave to the same high standards as AS. They will just carry on selling regardless.

Absolutely. Look at the No vax Djokovic scandal. Even if he were triple vaxxed, it would still only be by antigen testing that it would be possible to establish whether he was infectious and a danger to other players. (Unless it’s his attitude that they find dangerous.)

This push for vaccination rather than testing is a global phenomenon which defies all logic. It’s Alice in Wonderland stuff:

Thus it makes sense for the new CEO to be considering the post pandemic landscape. Do we do anything with malaria diagnostics? That seems to be his next big pharmaceutical project. After all there are lots of people in the continent of Africa that have failed to benefit from Covid jabs.
