Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has pushed ahead with expanding Israel’s fourth dose program, despite the lack of data.

Can anyone point me to the data regarding whether it was proven OK to mix and match AZ first doses with Pfizer booster? Whether it was established that it was OK to even take a third dose? Whether flu vaccine administered with a ****tail of AZ and Pfizer was proven safe?

Despite the media headlines, I don't think that the booster take-up has been as high as UK Gov wanted - especially with mixed messaging from Pfizer themselves about how the jab was not configured for Omicron. I have always suspected that the antibody 'nudge' would be deployed to convince people. The question for me is - is it to support current booster drive or is it to support a spring roll out of Jab 4? In any event, I think it was a stroke of genius on ABDX' part to introduce a test that shows a range of outcomes from well protected to lacking protection.

Either a last ditch effort to get everyone to take the current booster, or preparation for the Pfizer Omicron jab, expected April. Probably explains why Abingdon is on the move.

It's a shame that your Dr friend isn't familiar with the work of your namesake, Dr Paul Marik. If more doctors used his early intervention protocol, hospital admissions could have been lower throughout the pandemic.

In my experience, it’s pretty easy to tell the difference between Norovirus and a respiratory illness!
Biggest problem would be deciding which orifice to target for the swab sample!

One thing’s for certain, DVRG are moving up nicely on the back of population testing potential, using our Affimer technology.

Need to consider what shift to ‘endemic’ means for testing as that’s what seems to be the next stage of the story. I would feel much more comfortable if I thought Avacta was developing a combined flu and Covid test. Back in the day, AS said it was doable, but that there was no demand. CDC’s latest requirements suggest that a combined test is now their preferred option, which means potential massive demand.
