I am pointing out that big pharma somehow seems to crush all opposition- or hadn’t you noticed?

I am so proud of Avacta today. On both diagnostics and therapeutics, they are showing that their IP has huge, life-saving promise. However, I fear that if the pandemic has shown us anything, it is that big pharma doesn’t brook disruption. Look at Synairgen- still on the shelf while Pfizer and Merck roll out their dubious and horrendously expensive antivirals. Look at Angle’s Parsortix, still awaiting FDA approval despite numerous peer reviews showing its value.
Frankly, I don’t believe that Avacta can capitalise on this opportunity - unless they throw in their lot with a big pharma partner/patron. It’s just the way of the world. Disruption is not permitted.

It just strikes me that we’re getting a Downing Street-style “don’t look over there, look over here” type of PR job.

I wonder if our partners are as happy to ignore the withdrawal of the lft from market as the majority of shareholders appear to be?
Having now had my own experience of Omicron, I can report that Flowflex didn’t show up as positive until 3 days after first symptoms, and now, 9 days later, I’m still getting a positive-even though likely no longer infectious.
