Yes, on the whole the media silence is a blessing because Avacta can do without the distraction. Clamouring shareholders is probably bad enough! ;-)

Just a thought but if certain journalists know about Avacta perhaps their first instinct would be to fill their boots with shares rather than write about it and have to disclose an interest?

Indeed, I’m advocating for a Press conference outside Downing Street at which AS of Avacta explains how the affirmers work and the home ‘pregnancy’ test and GB explains how we can all blow into a tube as we file into an airport/theatre/whatever and know that anyone with COVID will be sent home to quarantine. If we rely on the Boris/Whitty show to educate people, it will take ages for people to ‘get’ it.

If you read the below the line comments in the Speccie, it’s clear that nobody trusts the Gov to deliver on this. They should get Sir Al and Gerry Brandon to explain it all. Both are excellent communicators and we need clarity and preCISION, not bluster, to reassure people.
