I just looked up what MPs have to disclose as ‘financial interests’ regarding share dealings. The answer is : “Category 9 requires the registration of shareholdings worth more than 100% of the annual parliamentary salary” (currently just shy of £82,000). That’s a lot of leeway for trading with no transparency.

Good old Denmark, a last bastion of free speech and common sense. I’m quite surprised that they didn’t follow the Swedish model.

Carclo (CAR), the supplier of specialist plastics for the pharma industry will announce interim results on 27 Nov. Their name has been linked to the AVCT LFT previously, so their RNS might be a source of information about orders and volumes and which countries they are coming from. (Post Brexit, they might be hoping to play a significant role in a ‘Sovereign Supply’ of test kits.

To be fair, it’s one thing or the other. Either there’s a blanket NDA in place or else Avacta’s PR agency should be doing a much better job at calming nerves and getting as much positive news out there as possible. Why no mention of promotion to MSCI Small Cap Index for example? It’s a great indication of the company’s growing maturity. Why no RNS to confirm (what we all know) that the market for rapid testing is alive and well for the foreseeable future regardless of vaccine roll-out. Yellow Jersey should be keeping an eye on these BBs. Of course their primary job is to keep the company’s reputation safe, but in the absence of an investor relations department at AVCT, this is surely also part of their communications remit?

I’m surprised that more of you don’t share my outrage at this blatant political and financial market manipulation by those ‘in the know’, bypassing proper procedures.

This probably explains why the Innova test is being portrayed as a US test, when we know that it is Chinese. Of course a major part of making moonshot a success ultimately will be to secure a sovereign supply of holy grail tests, now and foe future pandemics.

Whole of world would need to be vaccinated (assuming vaccinations are as effective as initial data suggests) before air travel could be deemed safe while this pandemic rages..... but of course there are also future pandemics to consider. We will forever be alert to this possibility now - and air travel was the main cause of global spread.
