I think the 'recommends' for my 'antagonistic' post probably just serve to highlight how totally board with Fort's ridiculous ramping other posters are. The man would claim going into administration as evidence of an imminent improvement in fortunes!

As I say, I'm genuinely pleased if realism is starting to set in for fort and others. Even rampy red is claiming to have sold some (fictitious) shares. It might lead to some actual discussion ahead of this year's AGM, as we seek to hoover up the tiny crumbs of information left behind by whoever is lead file at solg at the time, and work out which resolutions to support in order that the little guy doesn't get completely shafted.

Mind you, by then, the rampers will be back on full thrust and claiming there's megatons of jam tomorrow, if we just support their candidates

And that was true when he said it. Does it mean we can't become mine builders? Absolutely not. Could this latest round of comments be a bluff to draw out a bid? Sure, but it's a less convincing bluff than DC's, so it wouldn't make much sense.

The current team at solg certainly won't be building a mine. But they could raise some more cash and employ some mine builders, if the numbers on a small cap-ex early extraction look suitable. Or they could seek a JV partner to do the same, with a ramp up towards big block as the carrot.

Whatever happens, it certainly isn't fast and smart, proving that BS might have been guilty of some premature BS...

Bob and his bat have inflicted some damage, but it's not on the majors, it's on you and me. The moment his reckless rhetoric left us lame, we gave up any fight we had. Imagine the majors are now wondering if they can get the concession cheap from a new government in a year or two. Shame- the geologists have done well here, but subsequent lack of a coherent direction from multiple managers means solg don't feel like the ones to make cash from the resources at cascabel, by any route. The rampers love to say 'the minerals are still in the ground' but that's increasingly looking like the problem. They will stay there until solg get off the pot.

I see lots of people trying to rationalize, but I'm not sure a rational reaction to an unprecedented political event is to claim it was already costed in?! Before last week, I hadn't read a single article proposing that Lasso would dissolve parliament. So unless people trading this share had a better insight than his own ministers (on record expressing their surprise at his actions), this can't have been 'baked in'(sic).

Strange behavior, but whatever keeps fort/red/bubble happy and out of trouble, I guess...

I'm trying to understand the relentless attempts at positive 'spin'.

It's not balance, because they do it even when the general mood of the BB matches their own optimism.

It's not attempting leverage, because even the stupidest poster knows they can't move the needle from a message board on the internet

They're not paid rampers (or if they are, they are God awful at it)

They are either underwater or have a very low historic average, in which case they've missed massive profit making opportunities.

There are lots of ways to derive pleasure in life. Baiting idiots who think they understand their investment but then spout utter nonsense is just one sport I enjoy, and only ever fleetingly, you'll note.

Fact remains that no one has answered any of the questions I've set today. But don't hide behind the idea that the questions are beneath them, because they have replied. Inevitable? Wow Pad, that is big talk. Care to put a time frame on it? And a price you think the board will find acceptable? I know the second one doesn't matter in the sort of TO you're dreaming of, but you seem so confident, so guess at a number.

If there is an inevitable TO soon at a price over today's SP, you'd be bonkers not to go all in on it. So again, have you sold the family home, and maybe taken out a big short term loan to acquire all the shares you can? Borrowed from close family? Advised your mates to go all in with you?

Of course not, because you're full of it, and know full well the inevitability you speak of is false. Accept that there's a good chance nothing will happen for a while and you won't need to spend precious time making up stuff about 'infestors'. Enjoy yourself, poppet x

Even by his own standards, the amount of attempted inuendo in Red's post (count the ellipses) is impressive.

No bid because no one needs to. Majors and state-backed vehicles with deep pockets don't take pity on small caps. They almost always get them on the terms they want. Or they hoover up the pieces when they fail. Please don't lower yourself to a repetitive ramp about Noront, the one example of competitive tension anyone here seems capable of citing (in a diametrically opposed jurisdiction from ours, with proven mineral extraction).

Call it for what it is. An ambitious explorer that has been 'managed' in too many directions recently, and now has neither a credible bluff of financing and development, nor a clear road map to monetisation. Just Bob making claims about inflicting pain on companies for whom a 6x MCap takeout of solg would barely appear in their returns.

To those who say anyone with realistic concerns about the company should sell up and shouldn't post here, I say this: if you believe there's no truth in anything I say here then the risks must be vanishingly small. Please don't reply until you've sold the family home, moved into rented and invested the proceeds in solg, certain of a great return. If you haven't done this, it's because the offline, real-world version of you shares some of all of my doubts. And yet you're not selling.
