RE: Naheed Menon5 Dec 2024 16:43
We did have a choice at the time. For those who say differently, we can agree to disagree. We decided to prioritise at that time, and raise at that time, millions of £ to advance the Green hydrogen project.
The board always had a choice, and if they used less than half of that money raised for GH, and stuck it into NZ, we’d have had a 100% ownership of a project with a defined resource in the millions of oz’s, strengthening future JV talk. Riversgold are by no means flush with money, and currently have a smaller market cap than us, somehow. They just saw an opportunity and pounced on it. Fair play to them. Big thumble for us. Even when we purchased it, it had a rich history of drilling and gold
I owe Naheed no apologies. I don’t think she’s handled many situations well here, in less than 3 years she lost 95% of the companies valuation. She has 0 interaction with genuine shareholders and is lucky to be in a job. But if your new to this as an investment, I’m not telling you to take my word for it, make up your own opinions. It’s a free world and I hope for a more successful future.
But think we’re stuck with her, and 20% of NZ and if that’s what we have, we’ll have to make that work for us moving forward. Enjoy the 20% we have and hope itlll recoup some of my significant losses I’ve endured in such a small space of time.
