RE: Annual mine production19 Feb 2025 13:39
Been thinking about this. Think it was 56,000 ounces PA. But that was based upon a smaller resource, and a 6.8 year mine life. Both expected to be extended in some capacity. Not sure on the plants capacity, but can see that 56,000 ounces being closer to 70-80 PA.
That was based upon a gold price of $1750. Gold is now at $2900, so even if you allow for some pullback, you could be talking an extra $1000 per ounce profit, which alone equates to $56,000,000 per annum extra. All this depends on the AISC remaining as it is and other factors but needless to say, the numbers look incredibly encouraging from where the MCAP currently is. Just need to get the mining permit and construction can begin immediately.
