Fair enough, each to their own, but down from £25 to £9 in 6 weeks, when intrinsic value is arguably £40+, you cannot deny this hasn’t been beaten to death and is pretty much already a dead duck...

I do suspect there is bad news coming, and the market does know about it, hence the Constant bashing of the share price... just because it’s not out in public to us Doesn’t mean it’s not known. The question just is how bad is it, and does the price discount it enough... the other possibility is that the market is testing NMC and their shareholders patience, it’s telling them you need to hurry up and put out a report and react or you will keep getting slaughtered... the market does that with the Fed too, it often crashes prices and becomes the reason central banks need to react...

But the sad thing is that if this does bounce 50% most people will sell out and be glad to just gets out at break even. Nobody will wait for it to get to £25-30.

I have to agree with you in their second point. Asjad is a pretty useless IR guy.

Yeah, I think we are all expecting some bad news, that goes without saying, the question is how much of that has the market already discounted.

Bottoms and tops usually form around huge volatility. It’s a process and can take time. You will never get the bottom, so best to do your research, set the trade and risk parameters and just leave it. Come back in a month

But how much do ftse tracker funds really own of this stock? It’s not like the US where you have billions and 20%+ ownership levels ... so doubt relegation has too much impact at this point.

he has 50K, so with 30 stocks that's 6 quid dealing charges x 30 x 2 (in/out) = 360 quid + stamp duty @ 0.2% which is another 100 quid... so say max 500 quid in charges assuming he's not trading like crazy... so 1% to breakeven... which is reasonable.

Within equities, always diversify by sector, country and market cap.
hold a minimum of 30 stocks, and any one position should be max 5% position size of your portfolio.

i will let it bounce around, it's just clearing the weak hands... will be back after the close. no point watching it every minute. a nice breakout here and i do expect it to be at 11 quid + shortly.

I don’t buy it, they will have access to the company results!! Which is the most important price-sensitive data! That’s the reason why they’ve stopped share buybacks. (I admit I thought it might have been because they ran out of cash before)
