To be fair, they bought on 15 Jan, so maybe the share register hasn’t updated yet. But worth looking out for to see if they are real.

25m shares x £7 each = US$225m value ... on $171bn fund, that’s 0.14% position size.

The point being is that Capital Group probably don’t care too much what happens with their position and so are unlikely to be activist or loyal holders here to really challenge management.

Would now not be surprised to see a TR-1 showing they dumped.

To be fair I think they may have been one of many shareholders on a call arranged by Barclays capital last week.

That was before the top up, so maybe slightly more now but still way under half a percent of their overall portfolio.

So in reality they probably don’t give a sh*t about this as it’s pocket change in the grand scheme of that portfolio.

IIs tend not to catch falling knives so I wouldn’t count on that.

this is not deramping, it’s a link to an actual statement they made about the company saying they agreed with MW!

They went from that to now believing NMC after one meeting.

If they really hold 1 million shares, that’s around 0.5% of the company, so they should show up on the share register... they don’t... but perhaps it still needs to update...

MT - remember for Capital and Norges, they are huge, so this will be a max 1% position in their overall portfolio. Big £ loss yes, but probably little impact at the portfolio level.

Their track record is terrible: Kraft Heinz, DIA group, GAM, now NMC...

Who the hell are these guys? Anybody heard of them prior to NMC? They only have three people on their website. Seems like a joke outfit.
