The most recent update simply said

I do agree the entity is probably PC - nobody would else want to have them as their only customer given their conduct

I left the full quote in to show what a bell Tenbag is, but the first part is true imo. A farm out on almost any terms would lead to a massive rerate from these prices. Literally transformational. “Locked out” is typically stretching things as it’s not going to gap up hundred of %, but the current MCAP would never be seen again.

The chances of a farm out being announced any time soon are almost zero. All parties will want see the results from H2 and the other work overs.

You don’t agree to marry a blind date in advance.

These are nearly the right things to consider - the likelihood of good (or bad) news and the impact of the news.

Either way, we’ve come a long way since the assertions there would be 4-6 producing wells in 2024. And a deal announced this year.

TT1981 is being played here, but he’s one of very few who I think is actually invested / genuine.

Well I’ve literally just mentioned PC not paying. Some of us called it as problematic at the time whilst you were insisting everything was brilliant.

I’m not one for conspiracy theories (or Buck bashing) but this years raise was odd.

If he knew he needed money for the 2025 work programme why wait so long and when the SP was at its lowest? The timing means it’s now a race against the winter weather clock.

The line in the latest RNS about “It remains to be seen if PetroChina can meet the payment timetable that it incorporated in the oil sales agreement“ was an odd thing to say. It’s accurate but hardly reassuring to the market to know the buyer doesn’t pay when it should.

This sums it all up. They don’t know if they can get payment for the oil. Absolutely shambolic way of doing business because you’ve got a partner literally breaching their obligations and we just accept it.

Yet MB claims revenue covers costs. What activity led to the loss then?

And guess what, the revenue is going down because Heron 1 is declining every time they give an update.

It’s not petty.

If someone genuinely thinks today’s RNS gives rise to an expectation of 300bopd then they’re entitled to their view - even if they can’t explain why that’s their view.

But equally if their own expectations aren’t met they should be disappointed.

It’s like Abzzba telling us to expect 500bopd + from Heron 1 and then claiming he’s happy with 150bopd.

If that’s really what you EXPECT after then of it doesn’t happen then will you agree to come back and express your disappointment and negativity?

None of which is the same as claiming they said they’d be pumping 300bopd.

Abzzba the guy who told us Heron1 would average the 821bopd it PEAKED at!

Same guy who told us oil would be $100 (conservatively), that the refinery would be finished next year and that the Heron2 work would t take 20 days - but also says the longer it takes the better.

Another positive RNS yet almost certainly going to the all time lowest closing price. Great insight FTSE. And where on earth does the release say anything about 300bopd?!

Plus the fact they’ve not been paid the full amount and most months PC pay late too.

It sounds like good news re the tax, ie the government have seemingly sided with us. However, getting PC to pay what they should is going to be a different story as apparently they want the contract they signed reworded. It took them 3 months to physically sign the last agreement so how quickly do you think they’ll rush to agree a new contract that will mean them having to hand over cash?!
