Yes I think H2 is very very important. It’s why when it flopped the first time (just over a year ago) I sold out at 1.82p. Despite the same amount of oil being underground as the day before, at which point the SP was 35% higher. It’s just how business works

Agreed. And yet the SP goes lower and lower and lower. Precisely because there’s more to a business than a theoretical geology paper saying what oil is / might be there.

Not once (to my knowledge) has the company given projections on the costs of getting it out of the ground, the expected volume, or the profit.

Hmm, I think given the company have been trying to establish whether it’s economically viable to extract it from H2 for 14 months, it’s a fair consideration. Especially given H2 is just 800m from H1, which itself is already down to producing 145bopd. Which nobody here expected.

@master did you see Dans tweet seemingly showing a removal of infrastructure from H2?

*If* what Dan suggests is true, ie there is less infrastructure than a week or so earlier, then yes I’d regard that as negative.

Just like when I’d previously understood there to be more infrastructure I’d called that positive (as recently as this morning I said “the satellite images are positive”).

Hopefully Dans tweet helps people take a view.

Personally I think H2 being commercial would be material price sensitive news, so they shouldn’t really wait on other news. But this is AIM so maybe.

I find it nearly impossible to think a farm out deal will be at advanced stages when a crucial factor like H2 being commercial or not isn’t known.

Gazelle result was good news and delivered immediately.

h2…It could be it’s still ambiguous and they’re trying different technical solutions. Perhaps it’s not worked and they’re trying the water injector. I think the delay is broadly negative but by way of balance the satellite images are positive and there’s been some good buying last few sessions. Given what we were told about winter shut down (a company term) I can’t see us not knowing in the next week.

Whether it’s a good or bad result, the delay is astonishing really - they started work on H2 in August!

And yes I did say the company was running on fumes and predicted a raise. Then there was a raise. :)

Oh dear Investor, I’ve literally just given a balanced view but instead you parrot the lie I called Gazelle a dud. I called it a coin toss because it was a. 50-50.

Because I’m objective and not a troll, I’ve already said if H2 is commercial the SP will really move up. If it did 150bopd that would be incredible and I think the SP would double within a few sessions.

My best speculative guess is it’s either been a bit ambiguous, ie they’re still not sure what they think it can sustain OR it’s not commercial and they’re waiting on some good news elsewhere eg PC paying before releasing.

I don’t think it’s likely to be good news though, it’s taken far too long. As ever if I’m wrong it’s no big deal and I’ll own it. It’ll be nice to experience being wrong just for a change tbh. :)
