No, I’m not an expert in oilfield costs in Mongolia or elsewhere. So I don’t pretend to be.

Can you return the courtesy and answer how much you estimate it will cost to bring H2 to production (minus any remediation as obviously they’re unknown). You’ve probably forgotten but you previously said $1.25m to complete post well test, which is why I queried Thorns claims of H1 remediated, H2 completed AND remediated for $1m.

Doesn’t add up on my abacus, but then I’m not a mathematician either.

H2 isn’t complete though is it. Abzzba previously estimated that cost at $1.25m and he’s apparently an expert. So to bring it production with no remediation work would be $1.25m. On top of there’s the remediation work on H1 and presumably remediation work on H2.

Make sense?

I’m not sure I’ve given an opinion beyond that - as you rightly say I don’t profess to be an expert in Mongolia oilfield costs and as you say nobody knows what they plan on doing at H1, hence me wondering where your figure came from.

I simply asked another poster where his figures came from. And one by one you jump not to offer anything constructive but to attack me and sledge. Same old story.

If people want to give figures and opinions then I think it’s fair game to examine them. Nobody has answered because I suspect we all know they were inaccurate and surprise surprise overly optimistic

Perhaps the person who made the claim, or his mate who jumped in purely to sledge can explain why they think it can?

No great shock, your own arithmetic had the stockpiled amount being worth $1.4m the day before the company told us that was less than half that. And here you are patronising me about arithmetic- don’t give up the day job mate :)

I’m not hear to talk about Thor, when I want to discuss them I go their board. For whatever reason you think you can police what I’m allowed to analyse. Whilst you yourself offer nothing, absolutely nothing, about this company but love getting personal.

Hence me asking Thorn where his $1m for H1 and H2 including remediation on both came from.

It sounds like a made up figure to me but perhaps he can actually answer with substance. As he says you either believe his stories or you don’t. I’ve got it marked as fiction until and unless he can at least explain.

Re H2, I didn’t think the “installation” (probably wrong word) was complete - I don’t think of any the figures ventured by me or anyone else had H2 spend down as $4m. It’s important to be clear that it doesn’t produce 30bopd - it doesn’t produce anything at the moment and has been suspended. What it needs spending on it to be brought to production (even excluding any potential remediation) is therefore unknown.

I’ve been in 2 Telegram groups for shares and my experience of both is exactly as you describe.

The only thing I can’t work out is how / when Tenbag set it up - this appears to be the only share he owns and he’s clearly not intelligent enough to being paid to ramp?

FWIW I largely agree with you on the description of the export license Thorn.

My only caveat to saying it’s straightforward is MB has previously said it can’t be applied for until the underlying sales agreement is signed. So it’s uncertain (to me anyway) when that will be applied for and granted, as we’ve been guided the agreement is expected to be signed in Feb.
