Ricfle,
"Hurricane are still only reporting progress not vessel movements"
Yes, I can see that. The only 'point' I have been trying to make is that this represents a change from what they were reporting during the drilling campaign. I agree with others who say that we don't want an RNS every other day saying how many squirts of grease the mechanic has applied to the supply boat's bow-thruster bearings, but I remain surprised that there's been nothing about the rigmove.
Maybe the 'shipwatchers' having been publicly acknowledged by the CFO 18 months ago, and also more recently by a Broker, the company has decided that their work's being done for them in this respect, so the cost of an RNS (about 500 quid, I believe) would be an uneccessary expense.
"The share price is not attached to your speciality, drilling, indeed there is absolutely no connection."
Given that there will be no further drilling by Hurricane until next year, I can't argue with that.
"There will be a process RNS, if not a new presentation, released just before the AGM, so it can be discussed in detail."
Says Ricfle. But yes, that sounds very likely.
"Will Hurricane say first oil 2018? Personally like "Yuyus" I doubt it, as the AMG is about 1 month too early."
I take it you mean the AGM, and not the sports division of Mercedes Benz. But yes, I agree with you and Yuyus there. At best I feel that Dr T might say that FoiL in 2018 is 'not impossible' or something along those lines, but certainly won't commit to it.
"You need to try and think like the market"
That is an absurd statement. For starters, I myself am part of the market, albeit a very small part. But 'The Market' comprises all sorts of people (and robots), some of whom are selling, some of whom are buying, some very high-frequency intraday, some not making a trade for months, some looking at very short-term profit margins by dealing in volume, others holding longterm waiting for full monetisation or a takeover or a dividend, and some just gambling on spreadbets. What makes you believe 'the market' is capable of 'thought', anyway? It might behave like some hydra-headed organic beast, but there's no reason to believe the thing is conscious or capable of thought. If it were, its behaviour would be easy to predict, we'd all be rich, and all the 'soothsayers' would be out of a job.
