cadell,
" There's been a lot of top slicing will stop soon. Personally, I'm in for the big pay-off which might take a year."
Hey! You been hacking my computer?
Nah, only joking. :-))
But I don't think what we're seeing now is the result of 'topslicing'. That's been and gone. Anyone who wanted to do that and wasn't getting out of bed early to check things during the days preceding the RNS was asleep at the wheel.
I think instead what we're seeing now is automatic stop-losses kicking in, plus also a bit of panic-selling by people who haven't been following the story closely. If you care to look at the simple SP chart for the last three years, it's showing a classic trend. Except there are a few more rabbits left in the hat, to be revealed soon.
The wolves were howling on the hills surrounding the fair town of Niort of late, so yeah, did a little 10% 'topslice' myself when the spike hit. And have no 'shame' in admitting that. I know of others who did the same: there's nothing like some free money, and the wolves have gone away. Even if (due to slowness) I only managed to get 61.5p, not the peak price. Not complaining, though.
Just hoping that when Warwick Deep comes in (nb 'when', not 'if', because that's the way my belief-set is working) plus CMD, the spike's a bit higher, because my percentage sell will be bigger.
And then just leave the rest at the back of the drawer for about a year, for takeover time or whatever.
