That’s exactly the plan.
Whether they tie in state 16 straight away I’m not sure. They could do and test/ produce to check the viability of laterals.
State 36 and federal 28 are already on gathering lines so could tie in straight away. They won’t however realise federal 28 full potential like that although it will produce. They could however produce from it for some months thus increasing revenue before drilling further laterals. This would be once concept testing complete at state 36.
Then back to state 36 to prove up overlying layers, such as the C9 layer. This could then increase reserves by 6-7 times as per Auctus note:
“ In addition, the well has encountered the overlying reservoirs with a similar response as at the original well. 270 mmboe prospective resources have been estimated at the nine overlying reservoirs. This represents 6-7 times the contingent resources estimated in the Cane Creek reservoir, which was the target of the State 36-2R well.”
As you say, all coming together.
