Just sent another e-mail over, questioning Kenya, and the lack of drive in the SP by the BOD.

Our peers are all doing nicely, with recent highs being hit, whereas we are are being manipulated for some reason, and we need answers to what the f$$k is going on here.

Haven’t had any updates since the 24th March, where is Rahul, as he missed the investor presentation, due to an important meeting.

I'm quite concerned that block 10BA on our Kenya Licence is about to expire on 26th April 2022, which is 3 weeks away.
Is this block being discussed with Block 10BB, with the strategic partners?

Also on the Guyana drill, is this being discussed with the potential strategic partners for a farm in?

Are the talks still constructive?

Answer:

Submission of the FDP for the 10BB/13T licence allows Tullow and its JV Partners to secure the Production licences and the continuation of the exploration licences on both the 10BA and 12B blocks through commitments made in the E&A plan.

Project Oil Kenya includes both 10BA and 12B, so included in the discussions with strategic partners.

Yes, we are still seeking to mitigate capital exposure from historical work commitments, including the Beebei-Potaro well in Guyana, but it will not hold the well up.

Yes got the impression from the webinar the other day, that Kenya development was not if, but when kind of thing.

Kenya has a massive shortage of fuel at the moment, this will play right in the hands of the Tullow for FID.

Just hope we’re not brought out too cheap, but as the group treasurer/IR spokesman said in the webinar, if an offer comes in, and it’s a good offer, then the BOD will consider it!!!!

Maybe this has something to do with the Guyana farm out drill by REPSOL next month?

We were looking at farming down the $25 Million cost, (confirmed with IR last week), then if we are T/O won’t be necessary.

Maybe them stars are aligning after all.

Tullow are in discussions with the Ghana government to supply 500bcf of gas, when the current free gas ends later in the year.

Tullow have supplied the government with 200bcf of free gas, worth over $2Billion.

This will add circa. 6k BOPD to the group production net to Tullow, by year-end.

By end of 2024, group net production will be in excess of 90kbopd.

This is ready to re-rate in a matter of weeks.

EXPLORATION BLOCK 10BA – KENYA
The Company has a 25% WI in Block 10BA (subject to the Government’s back-in rights) with Tullow Oil plc (50% and Operator) and TotalEnergies (25%) holding the remaining interests.
The license has been extended to April 26, 2022, allowing time for the joint venture to include and align the Block 10BA work program with the proposed FDP for Blocks 10BB and 13T, which was submitted in December 2021. The work commitments remain unchanged and include an exploratory well. No letters of credit or guarantees have been provided by the JV. The license has a carrying value of nil at December 31, 2021.

GAS Contract to supply 500 mcf to GHANA government being signed before year-end, which equates to 6,000 BOPD, unhedged.

100,000 from Jubilee 50,000 from TEN + 18,000 NON Operated fields, equates to 90,000 BOPD NET to Tullow.

+ 130,000 BOPD from KENYA by 2025, and we valued at 52p??
