Feel free to copy and paste email sent yesterday.
Hi Matthew
Following on from my previous email's sent to you, I have a few more questions that you may be able to help me with?
1. If the Merger is off between ourselves and Capricorn, why are we still having multiple RNS about holdings etc?
Rahul has been keen to cut costs, even de-listing from the Irish stock exchange this week, why are we still paying for these releases on a daily basis? I have calculated over 500+ since the announcement, which would of cost the company hundreds of thousands, why is this still ongoing?
2. Are the Board any closer to the Kenya deal being signed? The new deadline is 6th November, is this likely?
Why is Keith Hill from Africa Oil, commenting numerous times, that the deal will be signed by certain dates? 10th May, end of June, then end of September? but still not happened?
3. Is the gas deal in Ghana any closer?
4. Is there any plan for the CMD to be done this year?
5. Do you have the link for the Africa conference presentation by Rahul last week?
6. Why is the company not doing anything to sustain the share Price? Why is it that a share buy back is not being done, at this extremely low SP? We have FCF, why is this not being used?
7. A dividend was announced at the same time as the merger, is this a thing of the past now, that this is not happening. I know we have debt, but so do most oil companies, they are still paying a dividend, would this not encourage investment companies to commit? Which would improve the SP?
8. Communication is paramount, and I don't think the Board is being transparent with us small shareholders. what is/can be done to improve this?
I look forward to your reply shortly.
