Orthern, yes, perhaps he shouldn't have mentioned any dates, but the market hasn't been too fussed by the delays (I don't see them as 'deadlines') We'll be told as soon as they're ready.

As a few of us said when he was appointed, it was going to take time for him to get his feet under the table, to develop a plan and then start delivering, which, to my mind, is what he's done very well - so far.

Public speaking is definitely not his forte and he's much better on a one-to-one basis in an interview. Having said that, he's still far better at it than the past three CEOs. Mind you, it helps that he's got a viable and believable story to tell and is quite clearly a very capable individual.

Thank heavens we've ditched many of the concessions. It was never feasible that we would be able to do anything with them.

The most significant near-term event will be the signing of the CIPA. The successful conclusion of the process will provide investors with a wholly different perspective to the investment proposition.

It's good to see we've passed the half billion market cap. A long way to go, but for once the wind may be in our sails.
