Have been trading this week, and whereas the SP has allowed some profit, the gains have been well below expectations.

Expected the SP to go much higher with all the rampers buying.

No one can call it right all the time.

Glenmore Agreement

Unlike some [I have a large portfolio], I cannot see G/c signing the binding agreement this afternoon.

I have previously posted my time scale for the agreement, and agree with Snowking that the negotiations will take time.

IMO, be careful what you wish for, Canmax and Glen will discuss terms and will IMO slice up the cake accordingly, leaving shareholders heavily diluted.

A lot of posters seem to think that post-negotiations, the status quo will be maintained. I don't think this will be so.

For Glencore to take responsibility for the 60/80 million debt, they will demand a pound of flesh.

Why does Glencore not buy Premier/Zulu, an offer would not surprise me.

I agree with jaglith that an EGM to raise the share ceiling will be forthcoming.

The company has maxed out the shares, leaving no room to maneuver. This does not make financial sense.

A responsible company should always carry a bank of shares to be used at its discretion; not to do so can leave a company in a very vulnerable or precarious position.

Premier has frequently used shares to settle creditors and, more recently, accumulated loan interest.

The company will wish to have "breathing space"

The time limit imposed by Premier has been put at 6th September.

Company to inform shareholders:

"The Board intends to the file the certificate of amendment that will implement the Consolidation as soon as possible following completion of the Annual General Meeting and in any event within three months of the date of this resolution.

For technical reasons, the New Ordinary Shares (in consolidated form) will have a new International Securities Identification Number (ISIN) which will be advised in due course. Accordingly, application will be made subsequently for the New Ordinary Shares (in consolidated form) to be admitted to trading on AIM and a further announcement will be made detailing the record date for the Consolidation, the new ISIN, the Effective Date and the date of expected admission to AIM of the New Ordinary Shares."
