We are now 6 weeks without RNS about production volumes, when GRL communicated a monthly target of 1000oz pm from Q1. With the lack of information it’s hard to determine whether the production volume is sufficient to cover the costs incurred, and therefore are they running cash positive or relying on further borrowing or credit. HarChris correctly states that share price could be either a sharp uplift or a steep decline, it matters very much to us as investors.

Apart from production update, Annual accounts for 2024 would be helpful, and also indication of the AISC costs this year.

Yesterday there was a significant fall in Burford SP falling fro around $12.00 midday to $11.24 at the close. Today after opening at $11.50 signifcant price jump starting around 13.30pm (18.30pm in UK) to around $12.90. These swings appear to be related to Trump's announcement concerning delaying tariff increases. Expect UK opening tomorrow to be around £10

Looking at Goldstone website, there is little information, about the business. No data about key management team members, or even about employees. What support is actually given by Nguvu, a company founded by Angela List. This means that may not be the independent non-executive chairman. Could this mean that Emma Priestly does not actually control the operations, which maybe the cause of the shoddy lack of progress towards the stated 1000oz per month target, and how much the operating costs will be incurred to achieve this.

This could be great company to invest in, but I believe we are being set up to a succession of failure to achieve any significant free cash flow, and will find our investments further diluted, and leading ultimately to a vulture takeover.

Next month we may have 2024 year financials, which may have little cause for comfort.

Brigra, interesting, but what is your source for change in broken ratings, nothing shows in this site for Burford and I cannot see any change in USA, (ref Barchart or Zacks).

Dividends much better, giving investors a true return, provided that necessary resources to continue real growth are allocated. I have always thought that buybacks indicate a lack of strategic vision.

Just discovered this business which acquires mining assets that have grown shareholder share of actual metal resources, leading to prospect of very desirable investor returns. Typically investments in junior miners sees dilution as the financing of mine development suffers from asset dilution as investments are made develop to ready to pour.

I am new investor here, but sense a weakness in the management ability to progress the opportunity presumably exists here. We are seeing that the market punishes non-achievement. Looking back on recent communications, I note with disapointment that on April 19th the tell that they are pleased with the first quarter progress, but no mention of the fact that 2 weeks before the end of the quarter mining operations had stopped at Kouroussa, where we discovered on May 17th that production had restarted after dispute resolution with indications of unresolved issues.

So now we await the results for Q2, which might possibly include so comment regarding July progress to soften the bitter Q2 pill. If the can report Q1 after 19 days, why do they now need more than 30 days?

There is surely value here, but management is far short of expected standard. It is not acceptable that Betts remains as acting Chairman, an independent appointee should be in place asap.

Unusual volume, looks like after hours, and strangely little effect in price.

Burford opened today (Wednesday) at $12.59c, fell to $12.42c, matching the UK late day at around £9.90p, and with some substantial trades in the trading hour rose to $13.08 before closing at $13.00c, which equates to £10.30p. Overall volume exceeded 2m, twice the usual level. Can’t see any news which might have driven this, which does anyone know any reason for this.

Burford had good day on NYSE, closing 46c, 2.9% higher at $16.40, in GBP at 1.266 = £12.95p. Barchart now asserts 100% strong buy.

GTX you rightly correct my message, most tpaftermarket trades in us were around $16, with the last trade of just 2 shares at $16.6.

GTX, your comments on the value here are absolutely correct, they are active across many types of action in many types of business, with a great reputation to support their market leading position. My investments here have transformed my finances.

Having got quite excited by GTX message I had a further look on Nasdaq site, which shows 1312 shares traded in yesterday’s after hours, the majority of which at around $13, but the last trade at 18.49pm was for just 2 shares. Nothing was showing yet for pre-market activity.

However I expect some excellent results to come through, and am disappointed that broker forecasts are still not recognising the potential.

Take a look at page 4 of the Shanta Gold 5 year plan and 2023 guidance, you will see how its really contradictory that board recommended acceptance of the Saturn offer.

The SWSt calculation makes no sense, their is based on a cash flow basis, so is probably penalising valuation gains which usually come through as cash eventually, and assumes a 17% pa fall in earnings, when an informed view would be substantial increase in earnings on a cash basis for years to come. SWSt point out risk factors for Burford, which IMHO are total hogwash.

SWSt calculates a possible 15 bagger for Shanta Gold, which I cannot really believe, so it remains as a small part of my portfolio, whereas my Burford holding is substantial.

Whilst you look at other sources of data, it’s worth a look at the US Barchart site which has lots of information.
