It seems doubtful that this chap Babu has insider knowledge of Saga’s current trading or the expected update for January to be able to confidently buy so many shares. Nor is there a divi to come. He and a cohort might be looking for an opportunity to buy Saga as a whole for a break up and keep the cruise business? Floating the idea.
Revolution themed cruises. Now there's a thought. The young ones have plenty of dosh to throw around.

“There are some perfectly good companies in the property sector which have been unfairly lumped together with their peers. For one, Primary Health Properties (PHP) is an investment trust that invests in healthcare facilities, such as GP surgeries. Two years ago it yielded around 4%, but now it yields nearly 7%.”
Having recently bought in a small way I can’t see why PHP seem to be off the radar of many investors. It has a very good business model with a steady income stream from quality properties. The directors are heavily invested. The SP seems stuck around 100p. Am I missing something?
FCF Minerals Corporation warmly welcomed the validators of the Presidential Mineral Industry Environmental Award, Best Mining Forest Contest and Safest Mine Award with the gong beaters from the host community and traditional dancers.
It’s 2.70p to buy now. The price of gold is consolidating around $2,000 with February futures at $2,030, all good for the bottom line. Even today there are some sellers out to make a quick profit but if they hang on until mid January and the yearly update they could double that profit.
Meanwhile those of us who bought into MTL years ago will soon be rewarded big time for our patience and persistence. GLA LTHs
The March budget should put your mid to rest. Income tax allowances increased and more "giveaways". The Tories are desperate to win the election by putting real money into pockets and kick start housing. Reform is needed.
When looking closely at the prices and times of the trades from Friday and indeed other days, it appears that a number of the “sells” are in fact buys. Friday – sells at around 2.01 are sells whereas “sells” at 2.14 and 2.16 are actually buys? This has happened to me on occasions when my own MTL buys have shown as sells. And to Lee last week when a couple of his buys appeared as sells?
The discrepancies seem to correlate with the spread. A buy is also a sell to the market makers.
17 Nov 14:03 Sell - 149,067 at 2.14p
17 Nov 12:58 Sell - 86,899 at 2.01p
17 Nov 12:31 Sell - 69,535 at 2.14p
17 Nov 12:31 Sell - 21,515 at 2.14p
17 Nov 11:49 Sell - 30,99 at 2.01p
17 Nov 10:00 Sell - 70,000 at 2.12p
17 Nov 09:28 Sell -118,300 at 2.014
I make that 4 buys and 3 sells but what do I know?
I agree that selling MTL at these low prices seems senseless .
Hi everyone.
Does anyone know if there is any news on the horizon from Saga about performance - sailings, insurance, sales etc? A spot of good news now would really put a boost into the SP but the company appear to be incommunicado. I am down 60% on this but sticking with it at the moment.
