"The recent decision by the Mali Ministry of Mines to suspend the issuance of new mining permits does not impact the Company's development progress. Engineering activities have therefore continued to progress in parallel with the Company's ongoing negotiations with potential financing partners.

Is only for issuance for "NEW" mining permits, NOT for existing!!

(Demanding change like Kodal does is not a new permit!!)

We can say that in current situation and positive evolution concerning the JV in what is funding agreement before end of April (even a few months later), Kodal will not have Cash-problems.

Any delay less than 3 months is no problem for Kodal but shareprice will be influenced negative if so. I don't expect a delay and for me, Kodal and Xinmao will achieve an agreement before end April.

This last part is my idea based on what I know. This is no advise and I can be completely wrong. DYOR

I consider this deposit as part of the possible cash funding to KMUK and only for this.
Also, money is transferred to an escrow account on name of KMUK.
The agreement to buy shares from Kodal is completely separated from the cash funding to KMUK in terms of when and how much and how to pay.

This deposit has nothing to see with group accounts at this moment because this money is from the JV to get used after the completion of the agreement to be part of the cash funding to build the plant and to do more exploration. Kodal can not decide to transfer it to their account because it is blocked surely and at this moment not theirs.

Saying that transfer of assets as part of the JV means they aren't owned at all by Kod is wrong because they are still from Kodal untill there is an completion of conditions before that transfer will happen. On the moment it will happen, 49% is Kodal's, 51 % will be Xinmao's (Hainan mining)

About the money, the same. It will be from Xinmao untill certain conditions are fulfilled or can not be fulfilled for some known reasons. If agreement OK , it will stay completely in KMUK as an advance for the cash funding of 94.34 million US$ for building mine and exploration and eventually other costs in the JV. If no agreement, depending of the reason(s), it will stay in KMUK.

What will happen with the money if there is no agreement that is different but even then, normally it will stay in KMUK. If they want to transfer it to Kodal, that is a different situation. Depends on shareholders KMUK.

Cash balances as at 30 September 2022 were £2,628,334 compared to £3,085,000 at 30 September 2021 and £1,046,000 at 31 March 2022. Cash as at 21 December 2022 was £1,821,000.

There is only the agreement to negotiate about exact %, price and possible offer to take the remaining 20% if they take the full 80% available for them in

There will be no problem to sell all available SC at a good price. But like always, there will be some people (shareholders and non-shareholders) telling that the deal or the price is not good enough.

But first, let them get the finance in order tobuild the mine and get the Lithium out of the ground to start producing the SC. And the rest is for Q2-Q3 next year.

They also want this to go well, they have a lot of shares to receive if they achieve all the incentive goals. And to make it really worth for them, share price needs to be decent. And accent share price is also good for shareholders.

Just patience for all involved in Kodal but it will be all right.

It looks the same if you look only too the money to earn and the Malian Gov takes only 10%.
But in this JV , Hainan has 51% and therefore absolute control over the Bougouni project. Hainan will not allow to change this.
And as I said, Malian Gov can and doesn't want to participate in a non Malian companie as KMUK, KMUK is UK. Too much responsibility, they only want their share from possible profits in Mali.

Mali Gov can not participate in KMUK, they only participate in active Malian mining Companies. An for Kodal this will be "Les Mines de Lithium de Bougouni S.A"
