LLL is a listed company demerged from Firefinch

KMUK is Kodal's the newly incorporated UK subsidiary, Kodal Mining UK Limited and is not meant to be listed.

The goal of both is the same, mining in Mali but the approach/structure is different and gives different responsibilities. Firefinch is only shareholder of LLL and can decide not to participate in any capital rise.

If KMUK needs more money/cash, they need to ask Kodal and Xinmao (Hainan's investment vehicle/subsidiary for this project)

Investing only based on info from a website without reading RNS, presentations and researching available info in internet is like a casino.

As we haven't seen names in this options-RNS, I'm sure it were Senior Management (Staff and Consultants) other than Directors or non-executive directors that exercised options. (Or a next RNS proves me wrong). Kodal only needed to RNS the exercise of these options but we can only hope they give a name related to these options in a next RNS. But no obligation to do so and therefore I think we never will know who exercised!!

Remember the RNS 4472T from 20 March 2023. Not all exercised options and warrants had a name of a person who exercised because part of these options were exercised by employees.

This exercise of options from other people than Directors => employees (staff and consultants) gives me confidence that news about finance deal is close. (Easy to say when only 18 days of May remain 😅)

yes, they did some drilling but no results published. That fundraise was partial for Bougouni West drilling but biggest part went to Bougouni project (Boumou and sogola-Baoule)

And also they needed to pay for the renewal of the licenses but like we say, GOOD DEAL!

The transaction for the Mafele Ouest will be paid in two parts (Every payment RNS),
1st payment £0.5Million in 5 days to Bambara and £0.4Million to Kodal
2nd payment: £0.1Million to Kodal (after transfer License to buyer)

The transaction for the N'Kemene Ouest concession will executed after the renewal documentation for the concession is received and will give a only ont paiment of £1.5Million (To Kodal only) (RNS needed)

For each concession there is a royalty: 1.4% for Kodal and 0.6% for Bambara

Also Kodal has the right to be issued an equity carried interest of 15% in any exploitation company set up for each Concession (subject to dilution from the Mali Government) for no consideration. They can always sell this right back to #LLL

But it's not 2 times 15% giving 30%, but giving 2 x 15% of a part and that gives 15% of equity carried interest possible of the complete package Bougouni West.

Not bad for an 380,000£ investment made by Kodal early 2019
Not bad for Mr Niare to receive also his £500,000 as part of the deal for his 20% ownership of these 2 concessions. this was also part of the original deal between Bambara (Owner is Mr Niare) and Kodal.

From Pilbara last quarterly report:

4. Processing
Total processing plant feed of 902,924 dmt (September Quarter: 801,968 dmt) resulted in
combined production from both processing plants of 162,151 dmt of spodumene
concentrate (September Quarter: 147,105 dmt).

So if they can continue this production, they will produce +/- 640,000 dmt Spodumene in their year 2023. That is a lot more than our possible 350,000dmt/year.

And Pilbara has also plans P680 and P1000 to expand production this year and next year.

350,000 Oz gold in the ground is nice but what would an interested company be willing to pay for it?

In any case, they did not pay much for Fatou. +/- USD 2,250,000 if everything went as described in the RNS.
