Ftse, a pumped test is not the same as an extended well test, essentially MB has decided to complete the well by running a completion string and install the beam pump so he must be super confident of a favourable result and pretty sure we have a commercial well.

Also keep in mind there is no Acid wash at Gazelle so will not take anywhere near as long to perform the well test.

530 km crude oil pipeline has an outer diameter of 12 inches how many pumping stations will it need along its route, the details we know as follows.

I33, my take on the rig still being at H2 means its either an extended well test or its being completed ready to go straight into production, if H2 well test was poor and the decision had been made to perform a water test to confirm the well suitability as an injector well then the rig is not needed for that, high pressure water pump can do that job.

Hence being confident when news comes it will be good news.

Gadgie, see below satellite image, top right corner is H1 & H2, 4km directly west of H1 & H2 lies Gazelle and in the bottom left corner of the image you can just see GOBI, it ties up with the pdf images on MATAD site of the well locations and there are no other wells around that area so yes i am pretty confident its GOBI, while my 07.17 Gobi link shows cabins/ containers etc there is no sign of a rig, my earlier link to H2 appears to show the rig still at H2 (redish blob at the top of H2 wellsite.

TT, as you say, i would take this as being a positive, if H2 well test had been poor we would have known two weeks ago, i also believe an RNS would have been released at the time, add to this the injector well water test would only take a few days (no sign of water tankers in any past satellite images) certainly seems to me to point that they could be completing / putting the well into production but the delay could also be due to an extended well test, these would be my best guesses, completing or extended well test..

I guess its also possible they have decided to perform acid Matrix on top of the acid wash but i think that a long shot though i think this would also be a positive as it normally leads to even higher production.
