In much simpler terms, given the opportunities ECHO have by way of upgrading old infrastructure, opening 30 closed in wells in the next 6 months, performing workovers ref tier 1 doc on their website, opening up Monte Aymond, completing Campo Limite etc etc, i am quite willing to wait another year or two if thats what it takes.

JONNYFUNK, ECHO have two licences in Bolivia, one of these was straddled by Shell and Repsol licences, both Shell and Repsol drilled their respective licences / wells 2018 / 2019 ish and while Shell found gas it was not commercial, i seem to remember both the Repsol and Shell wells were named BOYUY X-1 and each well reached deepths of near 6000 m, took over a year to drill and cost around $130,000,000 to drill, so that ECHO licence situated between these is probably worth nothing (but who knows for sure).
Our second licence is in Tarija basin which has had some huge gas finds, as it stands "undrilled" i doubt the licence itself is worth a lot but if we found a partner and it was drilled and found commercial then yes we could probably sell our stake and pay off all our debt and have cash left over, question is would we want to sell our stake, depends on whats found, how long is a piece of string.
Should say i am working from memory but pretty sure the above is reasonably accurate summary.
lancs, do not get drawn in by this parasite, it is exactly what he wants, he revels in confrontation, best to walk on past as you would dog mess on the pavement, we are on this board as we are invested in ECHO, this low life is on the board to cause trouble, i think a psychologist could probably give it a name.
Now we know how ECHO intend to proceed, timline as well, lets hope they get on and get these works carried out asap, we have heard many positives before but i do feel this time might just be different due to Interoil singing the same tune.
We will know soon enough, by the end of the year all these upgrades should be completed and the shut in wells re-opened.
If and i do mean IF this all works out then we should be well on the road to recovery with the workovers, Monte Aymond and Campo Limite to look forward to.
This time next year "Rodney" i will not be a millionaire.
Yep, good news RNS, now lets get on and do this work, an extract from the RNS below.
The Company estimates that, on completion, the aggregate effect of the three sets of infrastructure upgrades described above could, including the up to 240 bopd of liquids and up to 2 MMsf/d of associated gas (net to Echo) that would be expected to be delivered from the well reopening programme, result in up to an additional 600 boepd of production net to the Company.
