That confirms Evraz is now a shell. Russia will rule in new company’s favour and NTMK will be transferred. The rest of the company is with 30p at best and the laughable thing is sanctions will remain and Russians still have a claim to anything inside the plc shell 🤣. It’s game over

Bought at £6.50, shoulda sold when it went over £8 .. can’t see this ever recovering to those levels now

I reinvested my Bt dividend in ASML on 10/09/25. Which I will hold for 10-20 years.

Yes I didn’t say they are a sell. I said I wouldn’t reinvest my dividend.

I bought heavily during the last few years at 105-150p and reinvested Divis during that time,

I won’t sell a share but equally I won’t buy more. I will use my dividends to reduce my ratio in Bt and increase elsewhere. Unless this goes to 150p again, I won’t buy another share. I’ll keep this as my income , a pension in essence, but it’ll go into Rio, tw, bp. Now.

I also bought aviva phnx Rio Abdn lgen when they were all lower. Partly income, savings and dividends.

I’ve done well. I just won’t buy anymore of Bt or insurers . It’ll go into Rio tw and bp. Sectors I’m under weight .

After that I’d look at gsk , Diageo etc. but not Bt group,

Oh and if you think it’s any better in the uk. I’ve got news for you, ‘the world is round’. Quit work when you can . Tax man is coming for you and yours.

This is effectively an expensive lesson in how markets work. Tells you never to invest in Russia, and unless you can invest in an initial offering by private equity to make x20 your capital , (appian for example who needed £2bn and scooped by private institutions) then you buy stocks like Rio, glencore or other big guys who bought risk and sell it to you at a premium.

We are the small guy, the big guys won’t let us in on great opportunities, this was never one.

The bottom line is we are locked out and the intention later down the line by Kremlin is to permanently cut NTMK from our holding company Evraz plc.

We effectively hold a shell company , worthless.

To claim NTMK shares requires a uk notary that will provide a notary paper cert copy and a notary passport both required to open jsc rost account which can hold NTMK shares. No uk notary will do this , so you would have to send your original paper cert and original passport to Russia .

No sane person would do this. So we don’t have the option to acquire NTMK , and the Russian court and Kremlin are hoping we don’t understand it or follow this up, to avoid any fear in moex markets that they try to steal assets. To do so would scare friendly investors from other nations.

Kremlin hope we don’t understand and spread this info online.

I’m happy to be proved wrong and claim my NTMK shares.

All depends on how much you have in the market and where it is. If you have significant amounts it pays to diversify rather than go all in on one. My Bt holding is large and allocating funds elsewhere in equal plays helps secure my future and not put me in a difficult position if this ever goes sour

I won’t be reinvesting at this price. To many other good buys.

Kowtwo if you think the divi drops on payment day then you don’t understand investment after 1082 posts. I’d suggest you urgently spend your time learning about stocks and shares , buy books , read online, and spend less time posting or blindly investing your cash.

Shame this has risen , I get my Bt group dividend next week and my intention was to top up Tw, rio and bp with it.

I don’t think there is anything worth doing . And these will probably never be worth anything, paper or not. I have paper.

Just buy the shares for god sake, they’re cheap as a Glasgow hore!

While you lot squabble over a few quid made over a few months swing, I’ll be buying up thousands of these at this price on Monday and again in the months ahead.
