I agree, the move by Align to a levereged/derivative holding for part of their stake in ODX means they cannot let the price drop much, unless they have a massive amount of margin.

That means this is a pretty safe bet, very little downside, and massive upside.

Tricky, there is a flaw in your calculations.

You have assumed a 65% margin, fair enough, but as the price they sell at goes up (obviously we do not yet know) why does the margin stay at 65%?

If we have a cost at £3 and margin at 65% so £97.5m

Therefore costs at £52.5m

But if we sell at £4, the costs stay the same, so margin becomes 73.75%, so with fixed costs, the SP on a multiplier of 3 does not go up in a linear line.

Also, it looks like you are basing revenue on 50m sales???

One thing is for sure, especially when you look at the kind of figures that can be achieved with successful therapeutics, is that the sums that can be made via an investment in NFX could be life-changing.

That is why it is so bloody frustrating, incompetence and egos have got in the way of delivering value for investors.

Let's hope Anne gets the ball rolling very very soon.

The wording is very interesting.

If they were not to be sold they would have said 'produce'

If they said 'Sell' then they would have to produce the RNS with an order.

So to say deliver is as close as they can get to say the deal is done, without the order being signed and RNS'd.

No worries about orders IMO

Spreadex not been allowing buys for a few days now.

Will be interesting to see if Align continues buying or pause in the hope the price drops before maybe buying more.

Not impressed with their Director sales, yes they are entitled to, and it may be a small 'open' period, but they should have had an interview arranged today to explain and back up the positives. Does not take a genius to understand how the market reacts.

There are plenty of AIM companies that have shady directors that behave in this way, I got caught out by XEL directors doing just this thing years ago, they bought back in lower.

If it had not been for the fact that it has been confirmed that ODX are one of the three government-approved manufacturers, and that production capacity will be 2m tests per week, in part on Gov't supplied machinery, I would have sold today.

As it is I still think all will be well, just another naive move by management, they and their advisors really should get a grip of how they deal with the market. I get that a PI dominated company is like talking with a rabid dog, this BB demonstrated that, but they could have been a lot savvier.

A couple of weeks and it will all be forgotten as orders start rolling in, I expect there will be continuous contract negotiations, hence a small window for DD's.

Colin not selling anything is a big plus.

I am sure Anne realises the stakes are high, and that investors are looking to her to turn the company around.

Anne, if you are not aware, then the alternative to turning this around is total loss of confidence, a SP that slumps, resulting in likely death spiral finance to stay afloat and the resulting massive dilution.

It would not be a pretty sight, investors are willing to give you a chance, but this is the last chance for NFX.

On a more positive note, on some good news sentiment will lift considerably and things will look a lot better for the company and investors, it just needs some positive news, a rabbit out the hat if you like.

A Lot of CEO's don't understand the importance of sentiment, it is critical at this juncture, so Anne get something over the line, and make sure your update has some substance. Jam tomorrow will mean there may be no tomorrow.
