Really you would have to do a second test from a different batch, and a different person supervising the test, and really you would want to do a third and even fourth confirmatory test.

But the point is you get ever decreasing chances of false positives.

Get a positive, just do another LFT, chances of two false positives in a row is 1:1000000 (1,000 times 1000)

Who needs PCR for accuracy with those numbers.

We all know the phrase 'buy on rumour'

Well, we know about the upcoming TT, the 8Bn tender, and BIG THINGS COMING!

So it is entirely justified to pile into this and watch the SP rise, retreat, rise etc; the thing we do not know is order size.

But applying a bit of logic can take us a long way:

The tender is for one year

ODX can make in excess of 2m per week

2m per week justifies a MUCH higher SP than current, albeit we do not know for certain margins.

They are one of only three approved manufacturers in the UK

They have increased their workforce and tooling massively

The only real uncertainty looking forward is the size of the orders(s)

So if you take the above into account, 'buying on rumour' (and holding) is entirely justified.

What are the chances of a retrace on orders? Pretty much zero in my view.

So if you take that logic to its conclusion, the only reason to sell at some point in the next few weeks is if you are trading, or have reached your target.

News can come from many sources that cause price movements in ODX, as we have all seen, certainly not something I would be doing at the moment is having a reduced holding when we will see a massive rise.

From here it is no longer a case of 'will this rise' on news and orders, just 'how much will this rise' 50p? 100p? 200p? 300p?.....

I think a lot of traders now realise that this really is the time that ODX can begin a sustained rise despite the false dawns.

Selling in the 90’ hoping it will drop back to the low 80’s in a week or two could be a very very expensive mistake.

This 8bn will affect more that ODX so will pull a lot of Pi”s into/back into covid stocks.

So a decent rise is in order.

Most certainly we will go above 100p, to stay there depends how much the traders are prepared to lose in the next couple of weeks.

Not saying they will not encounter problems, but they are one of the most experienced diagnostics companies in the UK.

The level of compliance and knowledge required to even be in this market is massive, would take years for anyone to start something like this up.

I think their problems will likely just be growing/personnel type problems, but they are not starting from scratch, they have been producing this type of diagnostic test for years, just different composition in the chemistry, but the same type of process.

The fact we are one of three approved UK companies, and that the barrier to entry is SO high means we could be in for a large slice of the action!

That is the thing, this is all part of a coordinated approach, I admit I am usually very sceptical that this Gov't can get much right, but the civil servants and NHS coordinating all this testing and vaccination have done a great job, albeit very late on the testing front.

As part of the coordination ODX will have been part of the planning and roll-out timetable to ensure supplies keep up with demand, but due to NDA they cannot yet discuss.

But they have given a big hint.

I will also add, there is nothing wrong with criticising a company, I have done it plenty, but there is a difference in genuine criticism done in genuine debate, to what the trolls do, which is obvious manipulation.

When you get to know a poster is obviously manip[ulating, just filter or don't read their posts, and if possible try not respond, like a toddler seeking attention, it is what they crave.

ODX gave a massive hint last week.

Those listening to the trolls and naysayers, I hope they put them on filter, including the prolific turncoat 'bedwetter'.

These guys will lose you money.

When the directors sold, normally I would have sold, but given they had a confirmed government deal and rapidly increasing workforce, that outweighed the negative.

But the trolls seize on every negative to get you to sell/not buy to profit themselves, if you normally read their posts, best filter them, personally, I don't really read their posts as it is all just obvious manipulation.

p.s. personally I think the directors sold as they knew they would be in a very extended closed period, it may last years, with constant deal negotiation for major supply contracts, therefore sold, but the killer reason I think it that they have been assured that there will be further performance-related options granted that outweigh what will be sold, so no big deal selling and realising some potentially life-changing cash.
