News IS due very soon.

Whilst CB had no appetite to take the company forward, personally, he is/was no fool.

I expect he has put in place a very capable CEO, and that the update she gives will be a good one.

No doubt she has read comments from PI's and had communications with them, she is under no illusion about what needs to happen, I expect her to give an update and strategy that will lift the share price from the lows we see.

As always good investing is all about good timing as well as identifying a company that has potential, not claiming to be great at it myself, easy to get sucked in thinking those in charge of the company will perform.

Hence Anne's update is crucial, but she knows it.

The one (currently) good thing about having GLEN as the partner, is that it is a heavyweight when it comes to negotiating.

It will be able to negotiate from a position of strength, that ZIOC could never match, which in turn could lead to a much higher buy-out price, so that 500-700pps might be possible.

This is why it is an intelligent thing to have a reasonable stake in here.

A suspension followed by the announcement would mean no chance of buying before news, so you either take your stake beforehand or never, for what could easily be a life changing result.

In a lot of ways that would be the best scenario.

Get a cash/cash&shares buy out, it is a pretty fixed and clear result, however, get a free carry on ore or revenue as well as cash, you can then get dividends (eventually) and a multiple applied to the NPV, so would actually work out a higher value.

Even a 1% retention of profits would be worth £XX to the SP.

This company deserves criticism for some of what has gone on, if you just talked about the positive stuff on NFX there would not be much to say lol.

Everything points to this taking off, only question is when.

Certainly from a portfolio point of view, entirely sensible to have a decent position here, just not all your eggs in this particular basket.

If you scroll back on these pages you will see a lot of links to articles showing the Chinese are searching for more resources. Samandou is somewhat in the pipeline, but more than likely around 5 years away.

CODIC, we know are interested, so given my previous post, and the Chinese sniffing around, it is just a case of joining dots.

GLEN has been the unknown and blocker for many years, happy to sit on it, but there are winds of change there too.

All in all it is a very very intelligent punt at the moment, huge return, and more likely than not that something will transpire in the short to medium term.

Iron Ore at high prices, multi-year highs, and no sign of reducing.

Post-Covid spending by countries to escape Covid related recession, particularly infrastructure spending (high steel usage)

High emphasis on high-grade steel to reduce pollution/energy costs/Paris Climate change treaty obligations

Global Geopolitics, China especially looking for alternative high-grade ore sources to screw Oz.

Massive >$1T resource, economies of scale

Ridiculously cheap market cap here, absolutely massive upside.

It has been said, including by me, for many months, ODX will sell all they produce.

We didn't think a while ago that 2m a week would be on the cards, and we didn't know what test they would produce.

We thought it would happen sooner, and we have had doubts, detractors and derampers.

But the time is now upon us, we may not have the RNS with orders, but we have the Govn't talking about ODX producing, and leaks so as good as done.

This really is the time to get as much as you can, as it will be 300p + in a short timescale of a few months.

Fill your boots time!!

And in the almost impossible scenario, that this does not transpire, that we don't get orders, and the SP does not rise substantially, feel free to cast it up for evermore, I shall happily take the ridicule, because is not going to happen IMO.

Hopefully more mentions in the Sunday press, and FT/general media over the next week.

I expect we shall see a good rise now, the Director sales, which were handled very badly, should be in the rear view mirror, and we can now start to realise the potential here.

It has been frustrating, being invested in ODX, and watching the Government make a hash of things, but we are now well and truly on the right track and a SP of 300p beckons.

After that? it depends.......
