Well said, JS, very well said. I have forgotten so many things from the past, I also try not to go around with a chip on my shoulder about things that have happened and are over, nor bearing grudges. I do filter the idiots, on both sides of the camp as they add nothing of value or, more importantly, truth. It just seems to me certain posters from the past, coming here to "help" us are getting increasingly desperate to buy in cheap. As I've said before, if they weren't honest with us last year, and they openly admit they weren't, then why would they be honest with us this year?

the post has been quickly removed, a certain person claimed they had 125,000 at £6.00. I don't think that they BOUGHT 125,00 at that price though, the price they bought at could well have been considerably lower and had they SOLD at £6.00 they may have made a significant profit. Exact details should not be discussed, of course, but if any person was in profit at any point and never sold then there is some considerable reduction of any possible liabilities in ANY case, IMO.

I actually read on the "Latest Share Chat" sidebar a comment about, "Old Man Marsh", or something. I could have logged out to read it but I knew who had posted it and I thought it wasn't worth the effort. I am sure he will accept his ramping in the past was at least a little dishonest. My argument is not that he has become honest but that he is the same dishonest person who has changed sides, presumably to suit his own agenda. Maybe one day he will be simply deal with the companies he is invested in and stop trying to twist things to suit, but I think there is a long wait. I am, as he identified, considerably more mature than him. In every regard. So are all genuine and honest investors on this web-site (IMO... of course!) Good luck to you.

As I see it the date that you need to hold shares to qualify for the capital return must be set at some time in the future, exactly the same as a dividend payment. It cannot be a date from before now as people will have bought and sold. Why should people who have sold their shares qualify? If the date is (say) October the 25th, anybody holding shares on that date could sell now and still get a payment, that cannot be right. Further more, new investors will not be able to qualify as then QPP have to pay out for more shares than are in issue! It will be (IMO) quite simply implemented in exactly the same way as a dividend is paid out. We will be told the date later. I believe it can only be set in the future, for example, at 8:00 AM on the morning of..../..../2015.
