Just reading both of those adverts one says -

"The Havieron Project has enjoyed tremendous exploration success over the past year and is rapidly approaching delivery of a maiden resource, with future mining potential currently being assessed"

and the other says.

I think I like the wording in the second one better - Paddy

Final day for objections on the mining lease application is Monday the 7th September. Just had a look at the Emits website and nothing has been lodged so far, so I'm guessing we should move onto the next section of the process pretty quickly.

Anyone got any ideas how long this would take provided there are no objections lodged over the next few days??

There is no visible difference at Havieron, so deeper and in-fill look to be the order of the day there.

At Kraken - you can see the second drill location to the north of the dune that I highlighted on planet.com earlier in the week.

At the other NW Scallywag position there appears to be no change so it would seem they are going deep there also as that's 4 images that haven't changed much there.

Definitely not on the inside daveri and I'm still plumping for next week - I'll be very happy if they arrive tonight. It's 6 weeks tonight since the last results but it's eight weeks until the next quarterly.
Just seems to me that NCM have been pretty rigid on the halfway dates - even putting results out on a Tuesday when there was an odd number of weeks between quarterlies.
The only time they didn't stick to the schedule was when they released early in December on the night before the GGP AGM.

I don't really care one way or the other TBF, next week would be great as the RNS would be on the Thursday - how many would then sell out with the possible news on the GDXJ at end of play on the very next day.

Gervaise is doing a half an hour slot at 6.30pm (not sure if that's GMT or European time). There are a lot of other well known and respected CEO's doing presentations that day also so it should attract a big audience.

@Lenz - no mate, I'm based in the midlands here in the UK. Moved over here in 1996 and been here ever since.

Hi Spratt - the 11th is when the rebalance is announced and the 18th is when it's actioned - ie they will buy and sell to meet the quantities announced on the 11th.

Seems mad because as soon as it's announced people will be buying to then sell on the 18th, but as TMT says it could be a dodgy game of cat & mouse for the traders - I couldn't care less as I won't be selling but it should be interesting to watch from the sidelines.

@AM90 - How does the buying mechanism work - will they just start to buy first thing on Friday the 18th and keep going until they've satisfied the order?

Some other's far more knowledgeable like Jerry, AM90 & TMT have posted some working out but as it's all weighted to the companies that are in the index on the rebalancing day then it's a futile exercise.

I think Jerry or AM90 mentioned that some of the big companies may get kicked out because their Mcap is so large now - if that happens then there will be a lot more money to spread around so it could be conceivably be an even bigger buy.

Snap - we used AJ Bell as well, already had the SIPP set-up, printed off a few forms and posted them and they sorted everything else out.

@Elise - If (and it is an if) we do get into the GDXJ then they will be buying more like somewhere between 100 - 200 million GGP shares on Friday the 18th.

It seems that Marlborough & Natixis Investment Managers Australia both sold up completely in August selling a combined total of over 16 million shares - considering these were soaked up at the same time as Beetham's offload then this shows the appetite amongst PI's for Greatland - I just hope people don't bail too early.
