Yes I hope the BoE do raise by 0.5% tmw as I think it will be seen negatively otherwise.

They would have had to buy at a higher price recently.
If you think lloyds share price is about to rocket skywards then your criticism will be founded.
If it is possible the sp might dip again the next quarter Lloyds may well complete the buyback at a similar or even lower average price paid.
This has been great value considering what it would have cost if the share price pre Ukraine conflict had been maintained. It's frustrating watching it stall but I haven't lost faith in the process.

Lots of previous posts on this but they are 75% through their spend in 50% of the time they stated it would be completed. So dribs and drabs for now before it ramps up and buys another billion shares by end of year.

There is 105 and a half share trading days left to spend £532M. Thats 1.17B shares at todays price. It has to ramp up fairly soon. Dec 31st is a very fixed parameter.

Can you not see that an infectious disease makes points 1 and 2 incompatible? Restrictions were in place for collective safety. It overides individual freedom.
