What the troll Neil and his fellow trolls forget is Oil costs to get it out of the ground.
Lest we forget the cheapest out the ground from memory was SA at around $10 pb. But that's for only the ffirst 10m bpd. The world uses 100m per day.
The last 20m - I.e. the 80m to 100m part costs more than $50 to get out. The law of supply and demand by cost would state that $50 POO can't last long.
The supply side just works at $60 Brent for 100m bpd it seems.

Yes I agree MBS can still remember the Trump's " stab in the back" last year. I think he needs the cash though and will keep to his chosen strategy of supporting the POO.. After all they tried to break US shale before and it got them nowhere. Maybe he feels US share is not a threat now going forward anyway.
I smell a deal with Russia as they have seen today what will happen without . I'm going for a deal with Russia to cut at least 1.5m and may be a further surprise of a higher cut to 2m to give POO a good kick up.

I think Russia will agree too a large cut as MBS will ask Putin for a favour !

MBS and Suadi Arabia need the cash . Russia needs it more than it lets on too !

Yes I agree. Profit was disappointing.
I am even expecting Enquest's (ENQ) results which are released later this month to show a much higher level of profit than PMO's.
Indeed I favour ENQ going forward.

PMO 2019 results are out tomorrow and should make interesting reading. It will be interesting to see how the market responds to them in the current climate ! It May give a clue as to how our results could be received by the market later on this month.

Whenever I watch a Trump speech it always makes me laugh. Sometimes I laugh so much I almost cry. You see I believe Trump is actually very funny which is why I see him more of a stand up comedian on an open Mic day. What really makes me laugh is when he tries to be funny but is not, however because of this, it is funny. If you get my meaning.
I think he could win a 2nd term. Many Americans are true believers in him. What happens in the next 6 months will be crucial.

From 4.00pm Brent lost $ 1.5 and our share price barely flinched.

When we were up at the 30p level in January, it was said that we have "gaps to fill" at 21p or 23p , I can't remember exactly.
However we have NOW filled all the bloody gaps right down to 20p. Now all the gaps are filled can we please get back to our lovely rise - thank you (Mr No gaps to fill now )

Possibly year end trading update in May and the full 2019 results are due in June.
With the positive change in market pricing for skimmed milk powder , then this could be the "trigger" for a re-rate here.
