Yet another fine, looks like they will have to ramp ITV shares in the morning to pay for it !!!!

Okay on the 19th October, GS allegedly further reduced their 'holding' in ITV from 11.98% down to 10.97% which is roughly a decrease of 40m shares. But if we look at the actual reported total volume of ITV on 19th October we see it was only 15m shares traded in total as per the LSE !!

We are also led to believe (not me) that Liberty still have an 'interest' not a holding in ITV shares and that is 9.9%. to which GS are now very close to now.

I have done some more digging around last night and this morning and will do some more research today and tomorrow. It is half term with some schools already this week and if you recall during the last week of the Summer holidays we saw all those huge crossing trades in the order book of ITV, 286m, 102m,75m and 124m. Could we see another on Friday perhaps??

From 77p we reached a couple of weeks back, good enough for me just bought back some of the stock I sold.

Looks like ITV will be dragged down with Netflix this afternoon, so could be a good time to buy back some of the stock I sold at 76p a week or so ago.

I mentioned Apple-ITV sometime back and with a lot of chat last night on the other forum, I found this article this afternoon. With GS and Apple working together on other projects already (google 'Goldman Sachs and Apple') will we finally see some corporate action after the mystery of all the missing ITV shares ???

Smalltrader, sadly I very much doubt if ITV will return to 'normalised' dividend payments for some time yet although I wouldn't rule out a one-off special dividend in the event of a take -over.

Carolyn McCall has already mentioned that the company has participated in the Government's furlough scheme for her employees during this pandemic, so that money will have to be paid back initially once this crisis sorts itself out.

The last thing that McCall wants right now is for those employee payments to be 'securitised' in the form of a loan from the government and to be paying extortionate interest rates on it whilst it sits on the company's balance sheet.

Luckily, ITV being a largely cash generative company will be able to afford to pay off this loan pretty quickly, sadly a lot of other companies (the self-employed especially) won't be so lucky and will be loaded with debt for the unforeseeable future !

Its all part of the Government's master plan !

We'll probably get another GS Holdings RNS today but uptrend still looks intact, cleared all the 10-100 day moving averages comfortably and the profit taking from 77p odd looks done for the time being.

Spitting image is creating havoc over there in the US is an added bonus as well !!

Well I didn't think we see the 19's again but hey no problem just went long with IG at £500 a point for Dec.

Don't envisage too many margin calls from now until Santa's birthday !

That's what I thought when I found the link but hey he's only just got his feet under the desk at Berenberk and he's previous coverage of Greatland wasn't too bad when he was at Numis to give him credit. I just hope this is not round two of the Germans trying to accumulate Gold on the cheap like that last fella, his name escapes me for the time being but he was the fella with the Charlie Chaplin like moustache !!

Yep, I too thought Calum delivered without going overboard as it were. Remember that the big banks have already got in, the likes of UBS, Goldmans et al ahead of all the Havieron news. I feel that this was more of presenting 'Greatland Gold' to a wider audience. Nice one Baxter !
