After a few years sabbatical I took a plunge back into ITV this afternoon. Some decent volume again today, maybe those shorts are finally closing after all this time, we'll see.

Just watching the footie and Chase Bank are now the official sponsors of the England national football team and most of the adverts tonight are of US products or holidays.

After all the talk and rumours over the last few months as well as years could this be the year that ITV falls into US hands. ??

Yep, sadly it's now the norm. These US banks and hedge funds can trade world markets RISK FREE courtesy of the Fed's US Dollar printing press.

I'm in Foxtons and the stock is trading near its lows of the year and is one of the worst performing stocks of the year so far despite posting it's best Final results since 2015.

In the last year or so most UK pension funds, banks etc have left the scene citing underperformance and now the top 20 shareholders are now either US banks or hedge funds.

The manipulation is just as blatant but sadly this is how the Yanks work with no repercussions whatsoever.

Their mantra is make as much money as they can regardless of any rule breaking and then worry about any consequences later down the line.

Interesting trade just before 15.00pm, I saw a similar trade yesterday but of smaller quantity again two sides tied to a same amount, a cross trade perhaps ??

'Spring statement' next week and there's always a leaky leaky news bulletin put out by the government beforehand.

Agree with some of the recent comments on here, buyback announced this morning and with 'Rachel from accounts' panicking to keep her job, expect a reversal of that VAT for overseas tourist shopping here in the UK in the budget in a couple of weeks time.

Just imagine how much revenue that will bring back to the West End and areas like Knightsbridge & High St. Kensington with bars, restaurants and hotels all benefitting as a result.

She's done the pensioners, no more value for her there !!!

I recently bought into these, the company having exploration licences bang next door to Greatland Gold's Havieron monster Gold discovery and I first bought into Greatland at 0.002p (one fifth of a penny !) back in 2016 and still holding quite a few !

Will history repeat itself here, I hope so it couldn't have come at a better time with Gold still in the infancy of its bull run.
