The good news Al, is that you are guaranteed to get all your extra shares if you want them. Plus the chance of more if others don't want their's

whatever one does, if you believe in the project, then it makes sense to either take up the offer or, if SP drops, top up, to avoid your holding being diluted.

Oaktree. As I understand from the RNS, qualifying shares are those purchased and on the company's shareholder register by 16 November.
Not sure how long it takes from purchase to inclusion but assume it would be 2 or 3 days. Anyone else know?
Knowing how the MMs work, I suspect that even if this is the case, the SP is not going to drop significantly until after the qualifying date.
So it may be that you have to weigh up whether to buy high to get 37.5% extra shares cheap, or just gamble on a bigger drop later and buy in the market. Difficult one but if one believes it is all going to come off for us, then either method would hopefully see a significant rise eventually.

One of the stalwarts of our modus operandi is the ability to extract metals very cheaply thus increasing our margins. That works well in africa but not sure we would have the same advantage in costlier western countries.

Two points there Eric. I believe there is also the opportunity to take up excess shares which at 3.16p would help to bring your high average right down. Although I suspect there won't be too many of those available.
Secondly, it was pleasing to see the sp holding up well after the announcement. I take this as a positive moving forward.

That was an embarrassingly daft comparison in the post from 68

Just been looking through old paperwork for an open offer from BMR Mining. The paperwork did indeed come from HSBC and in this case I received 2 letters as some of my shares were in the ISA and some not.
Letter for ISA contains the following:
"If you have chosen to take up the offer inside your ISA ad there are insufficient funds in your ISA cash account, all or part of your entitlement will be moved out of the ISA and the relevant subscriptions debited from your nominee settlement account"
At the time, I had no spare cash in my ISA and allowance for the year was already used so both lots of shares were taken up outside my ISA and later transferred in.
So it seems you may be able to take the shares as ISA shares after all in certain circumstances.

Al , from my distant memory I seem to recall receiving a letter in the past which instructed me to go into "corporate actions" on the site to tell them which of several options to go for and to make sure funds available in feeder account by the required date.
Not sure if you can do that with uninvested cash within your ISA. I suspect not as they are not traded shares at that point. Presumably you would have to transfer the new shares into your ISA within your annual allowance once they hit the market.

Jed. I believe 68 has finally seen the light. On numerous occasions he has said he is banking on, amongst other things, repayment by Eneo (sic).
Yet now he appears to be accepting that this is very unlikely, in his latest admission, namely.
"They were totally skint up until very recently. In recent weeks the government have been raising money on the BEAC markets and have forwarded some funds to ENEO for past debts.ENEO owe money to Sonara , Sonatrel, SNH, Globeleq, Altaaqa and others. Some of the monies owed to some companies is huge"
It is naive of him to suggest that Eneo are going to be knocking over the likes of Sonara , Sonatrel, SNH, Globeleq and Altaaqa to beat a path to VOG's "£6m m/cap" door
