Sooz, I personally feel we will get the go-ahead eventually.
But it's seems pretty clear to me that for some reason, despite all loose ends well and truly tied, they don't appear to want to say yes.
Therefore I suspect that in order to save face, they will agree but with a list of additional conditions. I just hope that the list isn't so onerous as to affect profitability moving forward.

Shouldn't say this but have been dying for this to fall back below 6p for a personal top-up, but with the momentum going on in production and earnings now, I just can't see that happening.

That is a difficult one Danno. I have been both hoping for and expecting a strategic review yet we are still waiting, 7 months after Roy Kelly took the helm.
I suspect most would not wish to provide a list of their expectations as opposed to their hopes, as the list would probably be negative.
I suppose people could come at it from a perspective of what they would expect to see for the company to be viable and indeed to survive.
One thing all LTHs will know from experience is that the longer we go without an announcement, the worse it is when we finally get one. And it is not unknown for the negative announcement to refer to happenings from some while previous, for example, eneo non-payment

Not a great dilution, true, but with 6 months interest, that takes the equity exchange to c. 20m shares. They will be issued in Swedish Depository Receipts which will take the total swedish ownership over 70%. Not sure if this is significant but 70% also happens to be the benchmark regarding takeovers. Could that also mean that a vote could be taken to delist from London to Sweden both in registratin and Stock Market.

Tom. Boris Johnson is NOT far right. He is what would have been called a Tory wet in Maggie's day, who tossed a coin and it came down as heads Brexit.
He is spending money like there is no tomorrow in the vain hope that his seesaw lockdown will make the slightest difference in beating covid. Our kids and grandkids will be the poorer for the rest of their lives.
And for those who think Keir (WMD) Starmer would do a better job, the labour party would go even further, starting with a full lockdown but with a nice gentle sounding name of circuit breaker.

I guess that's different from liability for past pollution

Must admit I thought I read somewhere that ZCCM had taken on responsibility for the lead poisoning liability although maybe that's just protection for owners since it closed rather than previous owners

Articles in mail and guardian about Anglo American being sued by residents in a class action due to long standing health issues from lead poisoning. Maybe it will make jubilee sit up and start processing the damned stuff adap.
