I'm in. Was hoping for a dip below 5p anyway for a top up so 3.16 is a bargain and no fees. If you don't take up you get diluted so makes sense. And includes repayment of bridging facility which would have been more dilution anyway.

Is it that high a strike price? The SP has touched or exceeded 1p 5 or 6 times in the lst 6 months and yet we are effectively saying that we are happy to accept an increase of less than half a penny over that in the SP and giving them 5 years to acchieve it.
In reality that's probably not how it will play out, but let's face it we are all expecting news soon that would easily push SP way above that, so it's free money for them, especially the newbies.

Wouldn't place too much emphasis on the latest lockdown. I'm anticipating there will be massive non-compliance around the country this time around. People are getting fed up and sceptical in equal measures.

Me, I'm honest enough to say I haven't a scoobie which way the itv sp will go short term. All I know is I've hedged my bets and, unlike with the last lockdown I now have a decent sized fighting fund just in case there are going to be some bargains out there. Long term I would love to be back in itv, at the right price.

Sold out at the close for a tiny profit and the chance to make some money if lockdown causes another big correction.
Knowing my luck, itv will soar tomorrow. Lol

Well don't mind admitting I was wrong yesterday. Fully expected to be selling ITV today into the drop, but by and large it hasn't happened, so far.

Quite right MM. It's a bit like the American administration selling all the world trade center scrap metal to the Chinese before anyone could ascertain whether there was any thermite explosive residue in the remains.

I don't expect this lockdown to be as severe as the last one as the economy is much more open for business than last time. I also believe there will be significant non-compliance in a population which is fast growing weary of top down, authoritarian control from a political elite supported by scientists and the media.
My portfolio suffered badly during the last lockdown as chunks were chipped away on a daily basis. Whilst all my losses have since been recovered, I don't wish to be caught out again so will be selling from my blue chips in anticipation of buying back after the drop. I don't see ITV being immune from any such drop.

Must admit though, I am getting the vibes that we will eventually get the go-ahead, just a question of when. So topping up makes sense but as always, timing is everything and if it drags on well into the new year, there will be more dilution and reduced SP .
